HI-LO w. Rebūke & Guests

On Sunday, October 11th, Gray Area brings HI-LO to Creekside Under the K Bridge in Brooklyn for an extended open-air set. Joining him is Irish DJ and producer, Rebūke.

In 2020, HI-LO was named 1001Tracklists’ No. 1 most-supported producer across all genres. Since launching the alias in 2015, Dutch DJ and producer Oliver Heldens has developed HI-LO into a major force in techno through Beatport-leading releases, standout records on Drumcode and Filth on Acid, and performances at Ultra’s RESISTANCE, CRSSD, Factory 93, The Warehouse Project, and Seismic Dance Event.

From early techno releases “Zeus” and “Kronos” to Drumcode cuts “Wanna Go Bang,” “Crescendo,” and “Open Your Mind,” HI-LO has built a catalog supported by Adam Beyer, Charlotte de Witte, Carl Cox, Amelie Lens, Tale Of Us, and Solomun. His HILOMATIK label has also become a home for his own work and collaborations with Green Velvet, Armin van Buuren, Eli Brown, Maddix, ZHU, and Kasablanca.

Breaking out of Ireland’s underground scene, Rebūke first turned heads with “Along Came Polly,” the Beatport No. 1 that spent two months at the top and earned Pete Tong’s Essential New Tune. That breakthrough led to releases on Drumcode, Dirtybird, Ministry of Sound, and eventually Afterlife.

His collaboration with Anyma, “Syren,” became one of the defining records of the melodic techno movement, opening the door to performances alongside Anyma’s immersive productions at Sphere Las Vegas, Coachella, Afterlife Barcelona, Zamna Brazil, and Drumsheds London.

Running from 2 PM to 9 PM, the daytime session gives Heldens room to move beyond a standard festival slot and explore the full range of the HI-LO project. Expect driving percussion, heavy synth work, hypnotic tension, and the bigger records that have made him a fixture in warehouse clubs and on festival stages worldwide.

Set beneath the K Bridge in Greenpoint, Creekside pairs industrial scale with open-air space along the Brooklyn waterfront. More artists will be announced soon.
