Overview

Brunch Electronik is a global open-air festival that masterfully brings together the energy of electronic music with the laid-back vibe of a daytime gathering. Founded in Barcelona in 2011, Brunch Electronik began as a fresh concept that redefined the Sunday party experience. Initially branded as Brunch in the City and Brunch in the Park, the event quickly grew in popularity, becoming a staple for electronic music lovers who craved an outdoor, community-driven event without the late-night hours. Its rebranding to Brunch Electronik signaled its expansion to other major cities like Madrid, Lisbon, and even a winter series in Andorra.

Unlike many electronic music festivals that lean towards nighttime festivities, Brunch Electronik offers a distinct daytime format. Attendees can experience world-class DJ sets and live performances under the sun, dancing across one or two stages with vibrant energy. The events also include rest areas with shaded spots and tables, providing spaces to relax, chat with friends, and enjoy local food truck offerings. Brunch Electronik's culinary selection is a highlight, with vegan, vegetarian, and carnivorous options available, catering to all tastes.

Building on its success across Europe, Brunch Electronik expanded to Ibiza in 2019. The choice to bring the event to the global hub of electronic music was a natural progression. While Ibiza is known for its legendary nightlife, Brunch Electronik introduced something different—a daytime festival experience that runs from late morning into the evening. This format has been well-received, attracting a diverse crowd of music lovers who appreciate the mix of high-energy sets with the laid-back atmosphere of an outdoor event.

Brunch Electronik Ibiza first launched at Benimussa Park, a unique venue recognized for its open-air setting and rustic charm. The venue's multiple stages, wide open spaces, and quirky installations like animal sculptures and art pieces created an immersive experience that felt refreshingly different from the island's typical events. In 2024, Brunch Electronik returned to the former Benimussa Park, now known as 528 Ibiza, under the ownership of IRG—the same team behind Ibiza Rocks and other notable venues.

Beyond its musical offerings, Brunch Electronik has always placed strong importance on inclusivity and community engagement. The festival has partnered with local NGOs and established its own foundation, Social Fooding, aimed at addressing food waste and combating hunger in local communities. Its commitment to inclusivity extends to supporting LGBTIQ+ rights through collaborations with organizations like the Observatory Contra l’Homofòbia.

Brunch Electronik's inclusive atmosphere is not just about the music—it’s about creating a space where everyone feels welcome. The event is known for its friendly and diverse crowd, where electronic music fans of all backgrounds can gather, dance, and connect in an open and supportive environment.

As Brunch Electronik continues to grow, its core principles of community, inclusivity, and quality daytime events remain at the forefront. Its expansion to Ibiza has solidified its place as a major player in the global electronic music scene, and its ongoing work with community-focused projects showcases its broader vision beyond just music. With each new city it touches, Brunch Electronik carries its spirit of togetherness and quality music to new heights, proving that daytime festivals can be just as impactful and memorable as their nighttime counterparts.

Brunch Electronik celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2023.
