On Thursday, March 23, 2023, the gladiators of the experiential party, elrow, return to Miami Music Week for the first time since 2019. A heavy dose of technicolor and confetti awaits you at the sprawling Factory Town complex as the Spanish purveyors of absurdity and massive vibes (alongside Gray Area, Link Miami Rebels, and Insomniac) transform the Downtown Miami warehouse space into Julius Ceasar's Rome for Rowlympic Games. It's a fitting theme for a massive two-stage bacchanal during dance music's yearly marathon event, Miami Music Week.







We can't yet reveal the lineup for the sunset to sunrise event, but anyone who's been to an elrow event knows that regardless of where in the world it may be going off, the music is always stellar. And even the hundreds of world-class artists that have appeared on the immersive stages of these events around the world would agree that the music is merely the soundtrack for the dizzying energy and world-bending performances that
keep you fully engaged in the colorful and captivating land of elrowia, the setting for this year's Rowlympic Games.



As the story goes, "It's 50 AC. All of elrowia is occupied by the Romans. Except one little hamlet, inhabited by some irrepressible fun lovers who keep the Romans at bay thanks to a magic potion that makes them invincible. Finally, the Romans, sick of losing all the time, and in a gesture of peace, invite them to their Rowlympic Games. And so was born the ancient tradition, where athletes and barbarows joyfully competed to see who got to be the greatest party animal of all."



Factory Town will be decked from floor to ceiling in Roman Era flair, and elrow's engaging performers will take on the roles of Greeks, Romans, Cleopatra's dancers, and even Gods and Goddesses sharing a drink of that sweet, sweet nectar with us mortals.



While the rest of Music Week is made for club and beach wear, elrow is all about getting into the spirit of the theme. So, grab your toga, put some flowers in your hair, and practice those javelin skills before joining us on the dancefloor for another marathon night of house music, inflatables, confetti blasts, and the absurd and incredible energy of elrow.

On April 8, 2023, J. Worra is back in New York on The Roof of Superior Ingredients. We've been consistently blown away by her unparalleled skills behind the decks when we've had her at Quantum, elrow, and on OCHO. And we couldn't be more excited to have her help us kick off the weekend high above Brooklyn with a glorious sunset painting the sky across the Manhattan skyline.








2022 has been a landmark year for J. Worra, with major club bookings across the nation and international tours in Europe with Sofi Tukker and in Australia and New Zealand as a solo headliner. 2023 promises to be even bigger, with a string of releases on Ultra, Ninja Tune, and a debut album in the works. She's lined up to grace the stages of all your favorite festivals, but we've got her for a more intimate affair, doing it the Gray Area way in Brooklyn.




J. Worra continues to impress the dance music world with her classic Chicago meets new school tech approach to house music. As her story continues to be written, a more reflective side of J. Worra has emerged marrying her trademark sticky basslines with syrupy sweet vocals and wavy melodics. 




Releases like 2022's "Lose My Mind," "Love Boy," and "Lightning To Strike" prove her ability to find the sweet spot between the nostalgia of deeper more emotional house sounds, and the bass-forward bangers she built her brand on.

As a DJ Jamie's skills are not just well documented, they are absolutely undeniable. A fixture of the US club and festival circuit, she's a regular on stages large and small from EDC Las Vegas, CRSSD, and Coachella to her 2022 direct support slot on Swedish House Mafia's tour.

After a stunning show at Brooklyn Steel last fall, Italian duo Giolì & Assia are returning to New York for their first rooftop headlining performance at Superior Ingredients. On Sunday, April 16, 2023, the sky above Brooklyn will fill with the sounds of their delicately crafted blend of techno, house, indie, and pop.

In 2022 we couldn’t get enough of Giolì & Assia. Whether it was their explosive live show at Brooklyn Steel or their rousing and intensely powerful ARC Music Festival DJ set. Whenever we ran into them, we were awestruck by how they’ve carved their own space within dance music.




Since they debuted in 2017 with “Stay Closer,” they’ve consistently broken boundaries and redefined what it means to be a dance music artist with a sound dripping in the thumping rhythms of techno, ethereal textures of progressive, and a pop sensibility heightened by introspective, poetic lyricism. Their six-year creative partnership is an extension of their real-life romantic relationship, beautifully reflected in Assia’s gorgeously haunting vocals and Giolì’s expert handling of the piano, handpan, and drums.

Last fall, they released their bold third album Fire Hell and Holy Water, a triumph for their instrument-laden techno sound. Each track carries a timeless quality that reflects the beauty and tenderness of existence in a world rapped by emotional highs and lows. Their unique approach to moving the dancefloor has made them crowd favorites the world over. In the last year alone, they’ve performed at ARC Music Festival, DGTL, CRSSD, and their own Ibiza residency at Cova Santa.

Sister mega-venues Ushuaïa and Hï Ibiza have announced their annual team-up for a marathon day-to-night, 2023 Opening Party, set to take place on Saturday 29th April.

Marking the start of what’s going to be a super special summer on the white isle, the monumental party dubbed ‘The Signal’, is your sign to get ready for a full-steam ahead season in Ibiza.

Kicking things off at Ushuaïa, the 2 in 1 hotel/party palace is the ideal spot for daytime revelry. Made for up to 7,000 ravers, Ushuaïa makes for the perfect outdoor party experience - never failing to bring 10/10 levels of production and line-ups that quite frankly, you can't find anywhere else.

From midday to 23.00, you can dance under the balearic sun to some of the sounds from best DJs in the world, as the roster for this curtain-raiser has quite literally pulled out all of the stops.

Headlining the mammoth stage is progressive house maestro Eric Prydz. A rare sighting in Ibiza in itself, this is an occasion to capture him in an environment not many can.

Ushuaïa favorite Paul Kalkbrenner is back for an epic extended live performance, as well as melodic tech stars Maceo Plex, Massano, Kevin De Vries and SYREETA.

Hï will open up its doors from 23:00, where the crowds from Ushuaia will swarm their way over from Ushuaïa to the super club.

Talk about a special occasion, there will be multiple B2B performances throughout the night, including The Martinez Brothers B2B Ibiza mainstay Loco Dice in The Theatre, afro house kingpin Black Coffee B2B Brazilian-born wizard Mochakk, as well as Damian Lazarus B2B Ibiza queen Chloé Caillet. 

Solo sets from Honey Dijon, Chris Stussy and AMÉMÉ complete the main rooms cutting-edge program.

The Club will reverberate with the hard-hitting sounds of underground OGs Paco Osuna and Adam Beyer, as well as upcoming artists Anfisa Letyago, Patrick Mason and an Ibiza debut from Indira Paganotto.

Lastly, The Wild Corner (the clubs infamous multi-coloured toilets) will serve up some groovy underground house and disco, brought to you by the treasured Melon Bomb party brand.

The Night League (owner of the two iconic Ibiza venues) are starting the summer as they mean to go on with this epic opener.

The beginning of the season is also a great time to visit Ibiza, as flights and accommodation tend to be a little cheaper than peak season. 

It's a busy period on the island for the true rave enthusiasts, industry heads and for the DJs themselves, as they prepare themselves for the next six months of Ibiza carnage.

After two sold-out headline shows in Brooklyn in 2022, we've decided to team up with tech house phenom, Cloonee, one more time for a massive headline show. On May 6th, 2023, Gray Area is taking over the Knockdown Center in Queens for our biggest show yet, featuring the chunky, funky beats of this Beatport Top 10 Best-Selling Tech House Artist.



We've secured an iconic space in New York with a deep history for this one-off event. And we've asked Cloonee to bring some friends for the ride. The event arrives just in time for some of the best weather in New York, so you won't want to miss this chance to catch Cloonee rock the house.

However, Cloonee has been one of the top names on the playlists of industry giants since he dropped his Beatport chart-topping debut EP on elrow Music just five years ago. He quickly gained support from scene veterans with subsequent releases on labels like elrow Music, Lee Foss' Repopulate Mars, and Apollo 84's Twisted Fusion.



With the recent launch of his label Hellbent Records, Cloonee is taking his skills as a top-line selector one step further. With less than a dozen releases under its belt, Hellbent is already one of Beatport's top 20 best-selling tech house labels. Tracks like Cloonee and Brisotti collab "Tripasia" have become instant dancefloor-destroying hits.



The massive Knockdown Center is the perfect location for an all night rager, seriously we can take the party into the morning here. The historic building has stood for over a century and now boasts a staggering 20,000 square feet of dancing space. Taking its name from the Knock-down door frames it produced in the 1950s as the Manhattan Door Factory, the 50,000-square-foot building is now a state-of-the-art hub for culture and music. Richie Hawtin, Maceo Plex, BICEP, Hot Since 82, and Damian Lazarus’ legendary GET LOST have filled the space with the heart-stopping sounds of house and techno.

Lily Palmer's ability to combine powerful, driving techno with deep melancholic soundscapes, magnetic melodies and electrifying basslines has made her a crowd favorite from London to Ibiza and back. She creates memorable and unmistakable vibes at clubs, festivals, and through her many esteemed releases. Soon, she'll share her captivating melodies with New York for the first time on May 12, 2023 at the iconic Superior Ingredients Roof. After a landmark 2022 touring season that saw her touch down at DC-10, a staggering five dates at Amnesia, and Awakenings ADE, she's bringing her unique energy to Brooklyn for a thrilling extended sunset performance.










In addition to her label, Spannung Records—that features releases from Palmer, the Warp Brothers, and more—Lilly's catalog also includes releases on Adam Beyer's Drumcode, Oliver Huntemann's Senso Sounds, Off Recordings, Natura Viva, and Zurich-based SpaceMonki. Currently based in Amsterdam, Lilly's celebrated technical skills behind the decks are sought after throughout Europe and beyond. She's brought her heart-stopping beats to Creamfields, Riviera Electro Festival, OFFSónar, Verknipt, elrow, fabric London, and now to her debut in the United States.




Lily believes music is freedom. Freedom to express, process, and transform emotions while bonding with an audience. In 2022 she pushed her ethos further with a series of massive releases on Drumcode. In April, she released the We Control EP, with the title track sitting at nearly six million streams, it's clear that her grinding funky techno has struck a chord with clubbers and techno tourists worldwide. She followed that up with a storming remix of "Take Me There" by Adam Beyer and DJ Rush. Its chirping synths, sub-swelling kicks, and crispy clean percussion caught the attention of some of techno's finest selectors, including UMEK, Nicole Moudaber, Joseph Capriati, and Oliver Heldens.




As if 2022 didn't already have enough wins, Pete Tong invited Lilly to record an Essential Mix in May for BBC Radio 1. A thundering triumph for the rising techno heavyweight.

We're excited to announce our very first 2023 Summer show, and it's with none other than one of our day ones—our brother Will Clarke, and he's bringing some special guests along for a seven-hour journey in New York.

We bet you want to know the venue. Well, it's a secret for now. All we can say is that once we reveal it, the excitement for the show will be next level.

Over the last several years, Clarke has firmly established a trademark sound within the techno realm. Warehouse rattling funk with a touch of rave. A fan of dance music since before he was a teenager and a Dj for almost as long, Will Clarke has been in more clubs than one could count. Yet, he hopes to build a bridge to take dance music beyond the club. He told Gray Area, “I think the thing with dance music is that a lot of the time, it’s just for the club. And that’s absolutely fine. I think clubs have a real important place in our lives. But I think there’s actually more to [dance] music than just the clubs. I'm trying to write songs that have a bit of a meaning.”



While Will could have looked at the pandemic as a break from the rampant release schedules and revolving tour diaries, he pressed on working harder than ever to continue his mission of bringing something of meaning to the world. He created the Will Clarke Podcast. A favorite amongst industry heads and fans, it's a platform for Will to engage in long-form conversations with dance music favorites and those on the come up. Guests like MK, Chris Lake, Kevin Saunderson, HoneyLuv, Sam Divine, Duke Dumont, and Sohmi have all shared incredible and personal stories with Will. It's a testament to his skills as a brilliant communicator on and off the dancefloor.







Started shortly before the pandemic, his Beatport Top 100 best-selling label, All We Have is Now, continues to flourish. It has emerged as one of the genre's most sought-after imprints, with artists like Shermanology, MK, Matt Sassari, and Avision sharing space on the diverse roster. The label's releases prove dancefloors can be moved with purpose and intention. His own releases on the label, like "Hallelujah," featuring the incomparable voice of Candi Stanton, are the most heavily supported tracks of his career. And they signify that his audience fully supports his vision.



That's not to say Will has blinders on. On the contrary, his hectic touring schedule has taken him around the world several times over the last two years. From Chicago to Ibiza, the UK to Miami, Will is dropping heat at some of the best clubs and most notable festivals in the world, including Club Space, ADE, Amnesia, DC-10 for Patrick Topping's Trick, Electric Zoo, and Movement Detroit.





We're excited to host the next step in Will's creative evolution as he steps out front to bring his unique slant on techno and his expert curation to a very special headlining experience.

Summer is shaping up to be a hot one. We're dropping yet another open-air in New York in 2023, this time with Basement Leak founder and Dirtybird regular Shiba San. It's all going down on June 16th. We can't reveal the location for this epic day party, but rest assured, you won't want to miss a day of slinky house beats from Shiba and friends.




Ever since the release of his 2014 hit "Okay," Shiba San's womping low-end beats have maintained a firm grip over the house music scene. Upon its release, Rolling Stone hailed it a "global club sensation in waiting." An apt description for a track that has become part of the dance music lexicon, still getting regular plays nearly a decade after its release.




And despite writing an undisputed house music anthem, Shiba San is far more than the hit that helped define the prevailing sound of house music for years to come. His nearly two dozen bangin' Beatport #1 singles on labels like Green Velvet's Relief, Dirtybird, Defected, Lee Foss's Repopulate Mars, and his tastemaking Basement Leak imprint have made him a sought-after producer, performer, and remixer. And yet, as ubiquitous as his slithery sexy take on house music has become, he remains an enigma, preferring to let the music do the talking, remaining one of dance music's most celebrated artists.



Long before he became a house music heavyweight, Shiba established the imitable DJ skills that keep him in demand at festivals and club dates worldwide. Before writing "Okay," he spent 15 years in France's hip-hop scene. And for those in the know, the best DJ talent comes from those who have seamlessly crossed genre boundaries.




As a label owner, Shiba has made some of his most significant impact. Since 2017 he's helped break artists like Black V Neck while releasing chart-topping bangers from Gettoblaster and fellow Parisian beat swindler, Tchami.




We're excited to bring Shiba back to New York. His last show with us in 2022 was a sell-out success. It became a day-to-night affair with his Basement Leak homies taking over Superior Ingredients for 12 hours. You won't want to miss Shiba San putting in work on the decks this summer.

Those lucky enough to see a set from DJ Sneak know they’re witnessing a master at work. We here at Gray Area are honored to welcome DJ Sneak to our home field of New York City this summer. As a true dance music legend, Sneak is known worldwide for his brilliantly crafted, floor-stomping tracks. Join us July 8, on The Roof at Superior Ingredients, for a hearty helping of Chicago house set against the breathtaking views of the Manhattan skyline.





Before Sneak was a worldwide influence, he was a product of the second wave of Chicago powerhouse producers. After his family immigrated to the States from Puerto Rico in the 80s, he immediately took to local music. Since English wasn’t his first language, he felt innately drawn to instrumental music. Namely, house music. In 1996, he released his breakthrough album, Blue Funk Files, on Green Velvet’s notable Relief Records. And the whole world began to listen.




His musical approach was somehow both classic and innovative. He unabashedly injected house music with his classic filtered disco sound and splash of Latin flair. In this way, he would go on to influence some of the biggest stars in house music. Daft Punk, Basement Jaxx, and Armand Van Helden have all outwardly revered him as a significant inspiration. It wouldn’t be an overstatement to say Sneak’s contribution to the scene has been immense.



He’s long been a staple in Ibiza and the worldwide festival and club circuit. Recently, he’s also impressively taken total creative control of himself as an artist. He fully controls his past masters and meticulously curates his performance schedule. So, when given a chance, you don’t want to miss the opportunity to see a true legend command the dancefloor.

This is the longest we’ve ever waited for the return of the wildest party in the world to touch back down in New York. And if we're being honest, we are hungry for a night of technicolor madness, larger than life decorations, and a hailstorm of inflatables—it's been too long! We’re excited to announce that the wait is nearly over. elrow will make its triumphant return to Brooklyn on July 22nd, 2023.




Yes, that’s right, New York’s favorite two-stage mini-festival is back in 2023 for an epic journey into the absurd and fun-loving world of infamous Spanish party purveyors, elrow. The most anticipated weekend in the Ibiza clubbing calendar awaits - BBC Radio 1 has announced the return of its acclaimed Dance Weekend to the white isle for 2023.

For those unfamiliar, BBC Radio 1 is the largest, most popular and most listened to radio station in the UK, airing a round-the-clock programme of fresh new dance music from the most exciting upcoming and established artists.

Every year during peak summer, BBC R1 takes to Ibiza for an extended weekend of live broadcasts and explosive sets from the best artists and DJs in the scene right now.

Friday 28 July is the start date you are looking for, with the programme continuing through to Sunday 30 July (which, from experience, typically means a Monday morning finish), giving you plenty of time to plan your trip accordingly.

The eccentric 528 Ibiza (former home of the island’s infamous Zoo Project party) will be taking the lead for 2023. The first time hosting an event of this caliber, the quirky venue will lay on 4 epic stages including - Radio 1 Dance, Radio 1’s Dance Anthems, Radio 1 Relax and BBC Music Introducing.

Keeping us firmly on our toes, they have already revealed the first five names on the line-up and as always, they have not disappointed. Eats Everything, Hannah Wants, Fisher, Patrick Topping and LP Giobbi are set for San Antonio at the end of July, with many more names still to be announced.
