Overview
Tipic (stylized as tipic.) is the iconic and often only nightclub on the tranquil island of Formentera, located in the village of Es Pujols. It began as a humble farmhouse-turned-dance venue and opened its doors in 1971. Famously, its grand opening featured a live set by Pink Floyd, who were on the island to film More, instantly placing Tipic among Ibiza–Formentera nightlife legends.

With room for around 500 people, Tipic offers a distinctive experience compared to Ibiza’s larger clubs - a cozy, Bohemian clubbing space that remains intimate yet lively. Its two-level layout blends indoor and outdoor areas, with a balconied terrace overlooking pine-clad fields and comfortable lounge zones where patrons can catch a summer breeze .
In recent years, Tipic underwent a stylish renovation. Purchased by a Dutch investor in 2024, the space was refreshed while respectfully preserving its rustic stone façade, whitewashed walls, wooden-beamed ceilings, and organic-shaped windows that frame the rural landscape. Its interiors now feature boho-chic décor - palm-motif accents, red bar stools, eclectic ceramics, and atmospheric lighting that complements the island’s laid‑back charm .

Musically, Tipic specializes in a curated blend of techno, house, electronic, and Latin beats. Its programming embraces both depth and variety, offering “an intimate setting” for a diverse crowd of locals, tourists, and island regulars.
