TEED has created a sprawling discography as a classically trained musician, producer, singer, songwriter, and DJ. Never a fan of genre-based limitations, TEED (an acronym for Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs) treads the line between blushing synth-pop and driving club music. We’re here to share 11 tracks that will help you explore the expansive sound of TEED, though we’re willing to bet you won’t want to stop there.

1. Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs - The Distance

Sources from his 2021 EP of the same name, “The Distance,” is a late-night electronica gem. Lofi vocals float over driving drum beats and intertwine with a sporadic piano hook. It’s somehow both relaxing and dance-worthy.

2. Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Bonobo - Heartbreak

In his impromptu collaboration with British producer Bonobo, TEED turns up the groove with disco vocal samples and powerful UK breakbeats. The track would eventually earn a Grammy nomination for best dance/electronic record and spend more than two years on the Beatport charts.

3. Disclosure - F For You (Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs Remix)

Being tapped to remix a track from Disclosure’s seminal album Settle may be intimidating, but you couldn’t tell by TEED’s expert dancefloor scorcher “F For You.” The remix features on the three-disc, special edition version of the album. But it’s worth the dig.

4. Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, The Knocks - Walking on Water

In another home-run collaboration, TEED joined forces with electropop sensation The Knocks for this track. A euphoric chord progression laps against the beat while TEED sings in his perfect indie tone, “real love feels like walking on water.”

5. Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs - Don’t You Forget About Me

Though it’s not the Simple Minds edit we may have wanted, this track from 2018 is a great peek into TEED’s versatility. His childhood connection to choral music is evident in the song’s lilting intro. But the real magic comes with the song’s chaotic climax that eases into an infectiously funky drop.

6. Amtrac - Radical (feat. Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs)

On this mellow deep house track from Amtrac’s 2020 album Oddyssey, TEED adds his soft indie vocals over a mesmerizing, moody house beat and minor chords. To those looking for a good cry on the dancefloor, this one’s for you.

7. Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs - A Dream I Have

Another smash from The Distance EP, “A Dream I Have,” is part breakbeat, part indie-pop party anthem. The icing on the cake is the wandering synth melody that keeps the otherwise buoyant track grounded.

8. Lane 8 - Reviver (Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs Remix)

In this Lane 8 remix, TEED puts a drum and bass spin on an anthemic track. TEED recalls a love for jungle and drum and bass beats from his early days as a dance music fan. Fans more familiar with his electronica vibe may be delightfully surprised by this track.

9. Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs - Be With You

Fans waited ten long years between TEED’s debut album and his sophomore. Although When The Lights Go may feel like a sad record, hits like “Be With You,” invite listeners to forego the turbulence of modern life and dive deep into love.

10. BRONSON - DAWN (feat. Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs)[Hayden James Remix]

“DAWN” is a track made possible by an array of indie dance icons. On this track, TEED joins BRONSON (Odesza’s darker alter-ego project), Hayden James, and Golden Features. In this case, “too many cooks” makes for a tasty kitchen.

11. Porter Robinson - Unfold (Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs Remix)

Porter Robinson’s 2021 album Nurture is an adventurous and uplifting account of his journey back to happiness. Towards the end of the album, fans are gifted with this Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs collab.
