Hint of Lavender

Los Angeles-based DJ/producers Hint of Lavender might still be up-and-comers in the city’s burgeoning house music scene, but they have several gigs under their belts that indicate they are ones to watch. The pair is perhaps quickly becoming event production powerhouse Insomniac’s new darling, a status that comes with more than a little weight in today’s dance music landscape. Not only did they play the inaugural iteration of Insomniac’s first entirely house music-focused festival, Day Trip, they’ve opened for Carl Craig and Stacey Pullen as part of Insomniac’s Factory 93 series at Exchange, and were chosen to perform as part of Insomniac’s Red Bull Guest House takeover alongside the likes of Adam Auburn and Soul Clap during the Formula One Miami Grand Prix. Their funky and groovy yet classic sound has also led to regular gigs at Los Angeles dance music hotspots like Academy and Sound, as well as to a set at Okeechobee in 2022.
