In the new generation of house music, Oliver Heldens is a bona fide superstar. Since breaking into the scene back in 2013, he’s had No. 1 hits and billions of streams across his discography along with more than a few monster collaborations and remixes.

Once Heldens dropped his now classic future house cut, “Gecko” with vocals from none other than the house songstress, Becky Hill, he ceased to touch the ground. That was his first No. 1 in the UK and his first certified Platinum record.

Not long after he was working with the biggest names in dance music like Calvin Harris and Tiesto, but also moving into the territory of pop and R&B with major stars like Coldplay, Dua Lipa, Justin Timberlake, and SZA.

With so much musical sensibility demonstrated through his own musical output, Heldens eventually resolved to start his own record label, Heldeep so that he could not only identify the next big thing, but also create space for fellow established producers to explore the new sound he helped to champion.

Dada Life, Chocolate Puma and Example are some of the seasoned vets in the Heldeep catalog right alongside newfound pioneers including Alok, Throttle, Brohug & Zonderling.

Currently, Heldeep operates as far more than a label as well; ascending to the same rank as Drumcode (where Heldens has released music under his alias HI-LO) in hosting stages at some of the biggest festivals around the world including SW4 in London, Tomorrowland in Belgium, and Spring Awakening in Chicago.

Coming up on a decade of success, Heldens may not be the newest generation of house music anymore, but those in the upcoming generation will look to his success as a well-lit road map to the stars.
