The Flower Power movement in Ibiza traces its origins to the 1960s, during a time when the island became a haven for artists, bohemians, and counterculture figures from around the world. Attracted by its natural beauty, relaxed lifestyle, and sense of freedom, many sought refuge from the political unrest and rigid societal norms of the time.

The hippie community thrived in Ibiza, particularly in the town of San Antonio and around the beaches in the north of the island, creating an alternative society that celebrated music, art, and spirituality.
