La Troya is one of the most iconic and enduring nightlife events in Ibiza, synonymous with the island's lively and hedonistic party scene. Its origins trace back to the 1980s when it was first launched by Brazilian promoter and DJ Brasilio de Oliveira. Initially, La Troya started as a small, niche party at the legendary Ku Club (which later became Privilege), and it quickly gained popularity for its wild and flamboyant atmosphere.

Brasilio's vision was to create a party that combined the essence of Brazilian carnival with the uninhibited spirit of Ibiza, resulting in an event that was both extravagant and inclusive.

The name "La Troya" is inspired by the myth of the Trojan War, symbolizing a sense of conquest and celebration. From the outset, the party was known for its outrageous themes, elaborate costumes, and over-the-top performances. It attracted a diverse crowd, from the LGBTQ+ community to open-minded clubbers from all walks of life, united by their love for music and freedom of expression.

La Troya Ibiza

Throughout the years, La Troya evolved, moving from venue to venue across Ibiza, including

and Space, two of the island's most iconic clubs. Each move brought with it a change in the identity of the brand, but only a superficial one as the essence of what La Troya stood for remained at its core. A celebration of liberty, inclusivity, and diversity entwined in thrilling costumes, production, and music.

La Troya's reputation grew beyond Ibiza, with satellite events held in cities around the world, spreading its infectious energy globally. However, Ibiza remained its spiritual home, where the party continued to push boundaries and redefine the clubbing experience.

La Troya was previously hosted at HEART Ibiza, a venue known for blending art, music, and gastronomy, which perfectly complements the party's eclectic and immersive nature. As HEART changed owners the brand remained in the newly named

, and continues to captivate audiences with a truly theatrical experience, with large-scale production, elaborate costumes, and dramatic visuals, helping to create a memorable experience with inclusivity and freedom at its core.

La Troya truly embodies the essence of Ibiza's party scene—bold, colorful, and unapologetically free.
