's Shèn event series in Ibiza emerged as a significant addition to the island's electronic music scene, embodying a blend of deep, emotive, and progressive sounds that resonate with the island’s spiritual and hedonistic essence. The name Shèn, derived from Chinese philosophy, refers to the spirit or mind, reflecting Wah's vision of creating an immersive experience beyond just music, tapping into the deeper, more metaphysical aspects of the clubbing experience. 

Franky Wah, a UK-based DJ and producer, gained prominence in the electronic music world with his distinctive blend of melodic house and techno. His music, characterised by emotional depth and intricate production, quickly caught the attention of both fans and industry leaders. By the time he launched Shèn in Ibiza, Wah had already established himself as a formidable force in the global electronic music scene, with releases on labels like Anjunadeep and All Day I Dream, and support from iconic DJs.

The Shèn series was designed as a journey, a carefully curated experience where the music, atmosphere, and visuals combined to create a sense of unity and connection among the attendees. Shèn has developed far beyond its events, 

with releases by Quivver, Artche, and Marsh, a fashion brand, and a rapidly growing community of avid followers making it much more than a ‘party’.

Ibiza, known for its world-renowned clubs and legendary parties, provided the perfect backdrop for Shèn. It quickly found a home at ‘Club Chinois’, situated on the former site of ‘Heart’ , a popular venue with islanders, tourists, and a loyal VIP following. Shèn quickly became one of the most talked-about new events on the island with incredible large-scale production and visuals, carefully curated line-ups, and a music policy that resonated with its clientele. 

Shèn brand has grown into an eagerly anticipated global event. Shows in New York, ADE Amsterdam, and several UK shows, and with further US shows planned, Shèn continues to make its mark on the electronic music scene.

The success of Shèn has cemented Franky Wah's status as not just a DJ but also an event maker. Each element has been carefully thought of and executed perfectly - wherever in the world the party is.
