Audio River

In the historic riverside town of Płock, Poland, just 100 km northwest of Warsaw, all seems quiet. That is, of course, until the yearly Audioriver Festival infuses the city with a vibrant festival crowd and dance music. The yearly house and electronica festival takes place on July 29-31, 2022. Hosted along the banks of the Vistula River and throughout the city, festival-goers can opt to camp at the nearby festival grounds or venture out into the charming city of Płock. Odds are, there will be a party anywhere you go.

Audioriver takes a very unfussy, Euro-tech approach to their lineup. You likely won’t find the drop-obsessed, festival anthems à la Coachella or EDC. What you will do is dance your ass off unstoppably for three days. Old school house and techno are at the forefront of Audioriver. With 2022 performances from the likes of Âme, Dixon, and KAS:ST, this 15th-anniversary showcase isn’t one to miss.

Artist announcements for Audioriver usually come in waves. And while the AR team is still teasing more announcements to their Facebook fans, we’re already impressed with the lineup they’ve accrued.

We’re particularly excited for the special Âme B2B Dixon performance. Between Dixon’s impressive ear for the perfect remix and Âme’s expressive, dense production style - you’ll have to keep your ears sharp for this set.

Another obvious heavy-hitter on the lineup is Gorgon City. As a duo, their bass driven house music has amassed over 1.5 billion global streams. Beyond the numbers, the chance to dance to tracks like “You’ve Done Enough” and “Ready For Your Love” alongside a picturesque European river is totally priceless.

Friday and Saturday night at Audioriver light up the Old Market Square, right on the beaches of the Vistula River. Flanked by forested nature parks and wetlands, Audioriver has been selling out year after year, and it’s not hard to see why. Between the festival and their accompanying free concerts at the Music Fair, Audioriver attracts thousands of festival attendees every year.

While many festivals leave their big she-bang for Saturday, Audioriver culminates in a sunbathed soirée on Sun/Day. Taking place in a beautiful park between Mostowa and Rybaki Street, one lazy Sunday afternoon is transformed into a paradise garden of color, decorations, and the sounds of dance music.

For 2022, the festival team has announced bigger festival grounds, grander decorations, and a brand new stage. In total, over 100 artists are heading to Płock for Audioriver this year. Now the real question is, are you?
