Bora Uzer Chicago

Turkish rockstar, Bora Uzer, is set to bring his live energy and style to SERUM Chicago on November 14th. Earlier this year, Bora held down a Saturday night residency at Ibiza’s iconic Pacha nightclub, where he led the well-known Flower Power party throughout the summer. A multi-instrumentalist, he blends guitar, vocals, and DJing into one fluid performance, creating an immersive and memorable experience for audiences around the world. Also joining Bora is Dabura and Ugur Dariveren, two Chicago-based artists bringing depth, rhythm, and intention to the night.

He’s performed at major international venues including Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Denver, Ushuaïa Ibiza, and Tomorrowland Brazil. Bora has also toured across the U.S. with Rüfüs Du Sol, known for building real-time sets that respond to the energy of the room. With more than 20 years in the game, he’s worked with artists like Wyclef Jean and released music on respected labels such as Diynamic and Renaissance.

The Flower Power party at Pacha—known for its 1960s-inspired themes and vibrant production—took on new life in 2024 with Bora as its headliner. Incorporating live instrumentation and improvisation into each set, his performances reflected both his musical roots and global influences. Themes like Holi Ibiza, Circodelia, and Future of Freedom added depth to the party’s nostalgic concept, giving it a refreshed and modern identity.

Dabura, with a career spanning over two decades, blends his global background—from Beirut to Detroit to Chicago—into sets that feature live instruments and raw energy. He's performed at festivals like Ultra, Movement, ARC, and Spring Awakening, and has released music on labels including Younan Records, Slur, Pool House, and Vested. Beyond the booth, he's the founder of DANCE RITU∀LS, a six-year running series known for immersive community-focused events.

Ugur Dariveren brings a different tone, known for crafting cinematic, emotionally-driven sets rooted in melodic techno and progressive house. His style is shaped by film scores and storytelling, aiming to create a shared experience on the dancefloor. With a focus on connection and atmosphere, Ugur's sets unfold as emotional journeys, carefully balancing tension and release. Both artists bring a deep, thoughtful presence to the lineup, each offering their own perspective on movement, sound, and experience.
