Overview

For over 30 years, Dour Festival has been bringing their multi-genre music affair to the city of Dour in Belgium. Over 250,000 people attend the European music festival annually to enjoy a diverse range of sounds and talent. Spanning five days, this year’s Dour Festival takes place on July 13-17, 2022 at Rue d’Elouges.

The five-day festival features over 200 artists that encompass nearly every genre, including electronic, rock, R&B, pop, hip-hop, indie, punk, reggae, house, and techno. The diverse roster of artists will perform across nine stages, with music playing from noon to past midnight each day. Each stage presents a genre or style-specific programming.

The Last Arena is the main stage, which hosts many of the festival’s headliners. In previous years this stage has hosted Flume, Mac Miller, Mura Masa, Snoop Dogg, and Wu-Tang Clan. This year’s edition will see Flume yet again, as well as Rico Nasty, Trippie Redd, KAS:ST, and more.

De Balzaal is home to non-stop electronic music from 3 pm to 3 am every day. This area is accompanied by a vibrant light show to add to the mind-blowing sounds of DJs like Carl Cox, I Hate Models, Logic1000, BLOND:ISH, Sven Väth, and more than a dozen others. Previous events enjoyed leading acts like Adam Beyer, Kölsch, Tale Of Us, and Charlotte de Witte.

The new La Chaufferie stage by Eristoff is also 100% dedicated to electronic music, with genres like techno, drum and bass, and dubstep.

The Boombox stage is where you’ll find hip-hop, soul, R&B, and swing artists during the day, then a huge dance hall dub at night. ODESZA, Danny Brown, Flying Lotus, Kaytranada, and Yung Lean have taken the stage in the past, while Sub Focus, Benny The Butcher, and GoldLink are set to perform there this year.

La Petite Maison Dans La Prairie is the place to discover and enjoy up-and-coming indie artists and big names alike. This is where you’ll catch the artists of the future and those that have recently taken off, with talents like Mac Demarco, Death Grips, and Yaeji at past events. This year, Honey Dijon, Metronomy, SHERELLE, Ross From Friends, and many more will take over this stage.

The Rockamadour stage by Kiosk Radio is also another great place to discover local and up-and-coming artists in an intimate setting, with artists like Otis, Yung Singh, and Mankyan performing this year.

Dub Corner is dedicated to dubplate culture, which stems from dancehall reggae culture. Artists performing at Dub Corner this year include Young Warrior, Channel One, and Women Soldier.

For experimental sounds, Le Labo facilitates a laboratory for new ideas and musical sonics at Dour Festival. Previous performers at the stage include 070 Shake and Flavien Berger, while this year attendees can catch MADMADMAD, AliA, Regal86, Los Bitchos, and more.

The campgrounds also feature multiple stages and a lengthy lineup of talent for late-night dancing.

Despite the exceptional lineup year after year, Dour Festival always brings a first-class major festival experience to Europe between its talent, campsites, atmosphere, and community.

Single-day and full festival passes are currently available, and all passes include camping. Don’t miss out on one of Europe’s largest multi-genre happenings.
