Exit Festival
Novi Sad, Serbia
Overview
Exit Festival made history in 2021 as the first major festival to return to Europe since the beginning of the pandemic. In a glorious reunion after years of silence, more than 180.000 visitors passed through the festival gates that summer. Many notable publications hailed it as a historical event. The 2022 edition of Exit Fest is happening this summer, July 7 - 10 in Novi Sad, Serbia. This epic, four-day fest covers rock, techno, hip hop, and more, so be sure not to sleep on this heavy-hitter.
Held at the Petrovaradin Fortress on the banks of the Danube River, Exit Festival boasts more than 1000 artists who play on over 40 stages and festival zones. The massive hilltop fortress overlooks the city center of Novi Sad, keeping young festers close to other city attractions, monuments, and beaches. Those attending can choose from accommodations in the nearby Exit Camp or a selection of local hostels and hotels.
Youthful rebellion and raw spirit are at the core of Exit Fest. What began as a movement for freedom in Serbia and peace in the Balkans is now a massive brand that organizes seven events in five countries in South-East Europe.
Exit starts on Thursday, July 7th with a headlining slot from Australian rapper Iggy Azalea. Azaleaās debut album The New Classic was a chart-conquering mashup of southern-style hip-hop and EDM beats.
