Lost Village

In a secluded woodland near Lincolnshire, a post-apocalyptic village rises from the forest grounds. Lost Village is a UK-based summer festival that transports its visitors to a space of reckless abandon and creative indulgence. The three-day experience takes place from August 26 - 29 this year. The 2022 iteration of Lost Village is already sold out, but a resale marketplace is open for those still interested in joining the ‘tribe’ in the Lost Village.

The forested venue for Lost Village features an abandoned city full of hidden surprises. It’s obvious that the creators of this fest pay attention to every little detail. Festival-goers feel as if they’re transported out of the daily mundane and into an alternate reality. Through the leafy corridors of the forest, musical stages and hidden theaters lie waiting. Visitors can find themselves dancing on top of rusted cars in the junkyard or enjoying a comedy show at the Lost Theatre. The Airbase is a small musical stage that features a nearby crashed airplane. The Burial Ground is a massive tented stage that will host a variety of talent over the weekend.

Headlining the festival is Bonobo, Jamie XX and Tom Misch. Bonobo’s tranquil form of trip-hop will feel right at home in the mythical forest. His signature ambient production style earned him a nod as one of the key players in the rise of downtempo electronica. Equally as influential, Jamie XX was inarguably the driving force behind the indie pop band The xx. His debut solo album, In Colour earned him a Grammy nomination for Best Electronic Album in 2016.

Outside of the music, there’s a world of hidden experiences waiting at Lost Village. Take a dip in the wood-fired hot tubs or join a yoga session next to the Lake of Tranquility. If you get peckish, visit the global street food marketplace or attend a curated tribal banquet hosted by some of the UK’s most celebrated chefs.

Lost Village was founded in 2015 by Andy George, Jay Jameson, Ben Atkins, Andy Ellis and Aaron Mellor. The group of friends wanted to create a “creatively-led festival.” Their production on Lost Village shines with forward-thinking music, immersive theater and indulgent dining. As lovers of their craft, they make sure every intricate detail of “the tribe's” experience is tended to. It’s obvious the Lost Village team puts their whole heart & soul into this festival.
