Push The Feeling On - Mk Dub Revisited Edit

Since he emerged from the Detroit underground in the early '90s, MK has continued to innovate and reshape the face of dance music. Many associate his early years with his classic 1995 remix of Nightcrawlers "Push The Feeling On," which still stands today as a viral and essential record for any dance music fan. However, even before that, he was influencing the culture. He hit the number one spot on the Billboard Dance Charts in 1993 and 1994 with "

." Featuring Alana Simon's soulful vocals, the vocal chopping technique he championed was the inspiration for an entire generation of UK garage producers.

From 1996 well into the millennium, he produced several hit records for pop, R&B, and hip hop acts, proving his incredible diversity as an artist. Among his production credits are songs for Snoop Dogg, Beyonce, Pit Bull, and Mary J. Blige.

He's always stayed true to his dance roots, though. And over the last half-decade, has continued to curate future classics that will undoubtedly stand the test of time. Tracks like "17," "Piece of Me," and "There For You" with Gorgon City prove that even after 30 years, MK can still create powerful dance floor moments. 

The return of progressive house to the main stage has been marked by an avalanche of young producers leading the charge. Christoph is one of them. Inspired by Sasha and Digweed, his spellbinding music found early success and eventually fell into the hands of Eric Prydz, who has continued to champion Christoph's music. He's released a slew of titanic dancefloor anthems like "Breathe": with Jem Cooke and CamelPhat and "The World You See" with Artche and Franky Wah. The producer who is so inspired by the 90's progressive movement has come full circle with releases on John Digweed's Bedrock and Sasha's Last Night On Earth.

Considering that Dillon Nathaniel grew up surrounded by the sounds of progressive house and techno blasting from the car speakers on road trips, it's easy to understand how he fell into dance music. After trying his hand at studio engineering, he popped off on his own and scored early releases with Confession and Insomniac. His alluring, percussively driven tech house sound is a breath of fresh air. He's become a regular on lauded imprints like Repopulate Mars, Sola, and Sweat It Out.

A member of the infamous Pardon My French crew, Dombresky has in recent years gravitated towards a sound ideally suited for the high-energy personality that he exudes. Joyous hands-up house music that calls to mind the storied days of early Chicago house have made him a sought-after producer and in-demand DJ. Since moving to the US from France to pursue his career in dance, he's moved from strength to strength, first releasing on Fool's Gold and Mad Decent. He's become a mainstage act at festivals like Lollapalooza and EDC Vegas. His recent releases "Bubblin" and "Jack Machine" on his Process Records imprint mark the next chapter in his creative evolution.

Cleveland-born, Los Angeles-based HoneyLuv is the next generation of house music champs. After cutting her teeth as an open format DJ, she found her passion in dance music. And when she steps up to the decks, you can tell she's paid her dues and has the skills to match. A champion of inclusion and diversity, she's regularly been featured with LP Giobbi's Femme House Collective. And after a string of heartstopping releases on POPGANG records, she's emerged as a force in house music, more recently releasing with Thrive Music and on Insomniac's flagship imprint.
 

Kyle Walker initially broke out as a winner of Insomniac's Discovery Project competition in 2016, playing at EDC Las Vegas. His compelling and diverse sound ranges from deep and funky to up-front club bangers, always with a spicy percussive edge. In his short time in the industry, he's made a significant impact with releases on Jauz's Bite This, Insomniac's In/Rotation, and Dim Mak's New Noise. The Los Angeles native is regularly featured on top Spotify playlists and is a favorite of lauded industry giants like John Summit, Wax Motif, Gorgon City, Lee Foss, Claptone, and Noizu.

Witnessing an LP Giobbi set is to be immersed in her aura of unbridled joy and buoyant energy. She's a magnetic ball of energy and the reigning queen of piano house. The classically trained pianist was plucked from a Bay Area jazz club to join an all-girl dance music group, learned how to produce on equipment used by Daft Punk, and was the touring DJ for Soffi Tukker. She's forger her path in house music with passionate genre-defining releases, dynamic hybrid DJ sets that see her flex her incredible skills as a pianist, and the spirit of a 60's era activist—a singular force in the industry and an inspiration to women everywhere.

The man with the iconic beard who helped usher in the Dirtybird movement reached his full creative potential when he struck out on his own as a stalwart of techno with a purpose. After founding his All We Have Is Now imprint, he released a spread of warehouse-ready techno bangers that speak to his background in the classic sounds of dance music. Tracks like "My Church" with MK, "U Take Me Higher," and "Run Run" with JADED exemplify how techno can be music for the dancefloor yet timeless and emotionally relevant.
