Imagine entering a city where instead of skyscrapers, there are stages, and these stages match the Empire State Building and the Sears Tower in all their architectural glory.

The only difference is instead of hundreds of business people coming in and out all day, every day, these stages only host one or two of the world’s most talented DJs at a time.

Citizens of this city leave their temporary homes nearby to come and see and dance with these artists throughout three days of unimaginable fun.


There are many festivals in the world that could claim a resemblance to a city, but PAROOKAVILLE takes it one awesome step further. Launching in 2015, the city started with 40,000 residents, and by 2019 there were 210,000 residents all living amongst one another.

Within PAROOKAVILLE, these hundreds of thousands of people can visit the town hall to get their passport and daily PAROOKAVILLE newspaper or head to the post office to mail postcards or other mementos from the city to loved ones.

There’s a boulevard with dozens of artisan shops, a church ready to marry your new festival beau, a forest with a stage for the chilled-out artists on the lineup. There’s even a jail, that is not actually a place for miscreant attendees, but rather a tattoo shop.

This all comes before the music as well. With nearly 200 artists performing across the weekend this is one of the largest festivals in the world. Such an extensive roster is sure to satisfy every kind of dance music fan., but the headliners themselves are already very diverse.
