There is no artist in the world of house and techno that communicates quality like Eric Prydz, and Cristoph is the latest apprentice Prydz has taken under his wing.

Born in Newcastle upon Tyne, Cristoph has deep family ties to the art of DJing. Both his father and his brother worked in the industry, which allowed him the opportunity to immerse himself in the club environment, learning to spin vinyl from a young age.

John Digweed and Sasha were early inspirations for Cristoph, and their inimitable dynamic as DJs along with their profound talent as producers quickly rubbed off on the burgeoning artist leading to releases on Selador and Truesoul.

In 2016, Cristoph had the honor of becoming the artist who launched the ‘8-track’ album series on Knee Deep in Sound, Hot Since 82’s imprint. The concept included epic vocal tracks like “Alone” and “Closer” that established his titanic sound worldwide.

In 2017, Cristoph’s completed two of his longest standing goals by signing music to John Digweed and Sasha’s respective imprints: Bedrock and Last Night on Earth. It was following these accomplishments that he made another huge stride in his career and connected with Prydz.

Cristoph began to join Prydz at various impressive gigs including the EPIC 5.0 show and several stops at Prydz’s Hï Ibiza residency.

The endorsement was solidified when Cristoph became the first artist to sign to Prydz’s brand new imprint, Pryda Presents, and since then has touched down on the label eight more times.

With such strong support from Eric Prydz, he is a shoe-in to become one of the world’s most celebrated and in-demand artists throughout all of house and techno.
