Konstantin Sibold was born in Stuttgart, Germany in 1987. He first emerged onto the music scene when he became the youngest resident of the legendary Stuttgart club, Rocker 33. After two years of honing his craft behind the decks, he and close friend Leif Müller started their own event series titled, Common Sense People. The emphasis for these parties is to provide people with an intimate insight into who the artist is through extended sets and focused programming, something that Konstantin strives for with all of his sets.

Keeping this mind, he climbed up the proverbial ladder with a cultured approach to his performances and production style that is both distinctive and authentic. Appearances at Trouw, Concrete, Womb Tokyo, and Panorama then strengthened his status as an ingenious DJ capable of fueling any dancefloor with an infectious energy. The German artist incorporates everything from techno to house to indie-pop. As a producer, his goal is to be original and unsubstitutable, an ambition that led him to being voted ‘Newcomer of the Year 2013’ by the readers of Grove Magazine. His debut vinyl ‘Neuland’ came to us in 2010 and received significant support from major players in the industry. He’s seen releases on scene-leading record labels including Caramelo, Snork Enterprises, DFA, Mute Records, Innervisions, and Cocoon Recordings. Remix requests have come from esteemed pop acts such as Lana Del Rey, Gus Gus, and Röyksopp. More recently, his remix of ‘Home’ for Adriatique on the Siamese imprint was supported by Joris Voorn, Magdalena, Kölsch, Denis Horvat, Innellea, Colyn, and Kevin de Vries.

When he’s not in his studio making music, he can be found traveling around the world to play on some of the most prestigious stages. His name has been on the bill at Awakenings, Tomorrowland, Paradise Garten Festival in Austria, and Compact x Kolmetre 25 in Paris. Not just passionate about music, Konstantin is also an advocate for animal advocacy and environmental protection. As it pertains to the latter, the artist is very conscious of his carbon footprint and makes a habit of flying economy or taking the train as much as possible when traveling to gigs.
