Troy Henry, known by the masses primarily by his onstage moniker, TroyBoi, is a regular fixture on the lineups of some of the biggest festivals across the globe. Thus far in his illustrious career, he’s played events including Coachella Music and Arts Festival in California, Excision’s Lost Lands festival in Legend Valley, Ohio, Insomniac Events’ flagship festival EDC Las Vegas, and even Bangalore, India’s Steppinout Music Festival, to name just a few.
The UK-born and -based DJ and producer has certainly taken the dance music industry by storm, building a fan base of millions with his high-energy sound that skirts the boundaries of trap, house, bass, and dubstep. He’s also known for putting on an over-the-top show, often even showing off his dance moves in front of the crowd.
Thus far in his career, Henry has produced one full length album, 2017’s ‘Left is Right,’ which features a whopping 20 tracks. TroyBoi is also known for his popular ‘V!BEZ’ compilation albums, of which there are currently four volumes, each featuring a unique set of collaborations, including those with the likes of Skrillex, David Stewart, Nefera, Tropkillas, and more. TroyBoi is also at the helm of an extensive list of singles and EPs, which include collaborations with Snakehips, Ty Dolla $ign, Flosstradamus, and more.
TroyBoi is a frequent bridge between dance music and pop music, bringing his signature production style to the mainstream through high-profile collaborations with some of the industry’s top talent. Most notably, TroyBoi is known for joining forces with Justin Bieber on the track “Red Eye,” which debuted on the star’s sixth studio album, ‘Justice,’ in 2021. TroyBoi has also collaborated with industry bigwigs like Diplo and Nina Sky, for the song “Afterhours,” which dropped in 2015, and the artist also had the honor of remixing Billie Eilish’s “My Boy,” which Henry cleverly stylized as “MyBoi” for his take, released in 2018.
