VOLAC is a synchronized pair of Russian DJs and producers who have been serving up groovy bass house and g-house music since 2014. Formed by Sasha Gorohov and Stas Moskalev, the pair continuously delivers pleasantly inescapable house vibes to all corners of the globe. They recently finished a tour this September, where they played from California to Florida, promoting their recent EP release, Freak With Us.
VOLAC makes music that motivates and kicks you into action. Their style is fit for voguing, exclusive clubs, and is perfect workout music to break a sweat. Their single “Filthy,” featuring Dr. Fresch and Dread MC via Tchami’s Confession imprint, is just one track that showcases the dynamic sounds they mold together, perfect for distracting your mind while your body moves to the grooves. Additionally, tracks like their acoustic guitar-filled “Uh La La,” featuring Mila Falls and Trace via The Myth of NYX, help you forget about the world.
The duo has released several of their most well-received tracks under big labels, including their most popular song, “In A Club” with illusionize and Andre Longo via Epic Records Germany, “Feel It” via Spinnin, and their recent EP, Freak With Us, via Mix Feed Agency. Over the years, the duo has worked with the likes of Insomniac, Epic Records Germany, CUFF, All My Friends, Mix Feed, and Sleazy G, to name a few. In 2015, AC Slater signed the duo to his Night Bass imprint, where they released two EPs.
The group is no stranger to performing international sets, hitting festivals like EDC Las Vegas, Sziget Festival, and Audiotistic Fest, and putting on their own country-wide tours. Their Naughty Water Tour took place from December through January, hitting clubs around Brazil with electric waves. And even when they couldn’t go on physical tours, VOLAC streamed their sets to fans worldwide, scoring a spot on Tiësto’s Musical Freedom Radio.
The duo also has their own podcast, VOLACAST, where they perform virtually and host other artists, such as AC Slater and Will Clarke. Every episode, the artists and guests appear as freaky characters, which has proven to be a huge part of the show’s appeal. Their most recent VOLACAST episodes, which can be found on SoundCloud, features guest mixes from Valentino Khan and Wax Motif.
