ABODE Las Vegas
Las Vegas, Nevada
Overview
ABODE is bringing its underground UK party vibe to the fluorescent fixtures of Sin City. ABODE Las Vegas is for house and techno lovers who crave luxurious late nights back to back.
Growing out of a residency at Studio 338 in Greenwich, England, ABODE Records has since hosted sold-out events like Abode In The Park in London, Abode on the Rock in Malta, and since 2018 a residency at Amnesia, ibiza. They've come a long way since their lowkey shows in a little London borough as ABODE begins new ventures beyond Europe.
While many house and techno heavyweights dominate the lineup, ABODE is all about bolstering the UK's brightest up-and-coming producers and DJs. Their parties typically brought in big names as secret special guests, leaning on the underground crowds to know what's good and rewarding that trust with great surprises.
Abode Las Vegas is the label's supreme curation of British and internationally renowned artists set in America's casino and entertainment hub. We can count on ABODE to continue providing a home for the best of house and techno.
The Lineup
Among ABODE's resident DJs on the bill are GW Harrison, Max Chapman, Ellie Cocks, Skream, Yousef, and East End Dubs. At Encore Beach Club, the weekend eases in with the night swim. Thursday starts strong with Claptone conjuring a house music masquerade.
Showcasing classic dance music sensibilities, ABODE's headliners include Fatboy Slim - aka Norman Cook - who holds the Guinness World Record for most top 40 hits under different aliases. He recounts the history of house, funk, and big beat through brilliant mixing and unsurpassed energy—a must-see for any dance music fan curious about how Fatboy Slim has set dancefloors aglow for decades.
Get ready for Friday's endurance run, starting at the Tao Beach Dayclub. Amid the club's Bali-inspired cabanas, Yousef's rhythms will set the pace. Manchester duo Solardo will close the afternoon with ecstatic tunes. Then ABODE takes over the massive Marquee Nightclub until the wee hours of the morning. Marquee boasts three rooms, seven bars, and a pool deck – the perfect place to spend the peak hours with Jamie Jones.
Back at Encore Beach Club, Saturday welcomes neon-tinged house icon Green Velvet as the weekend reaches yet another climax. A lover of a good bassline, Max Chapman, takes deep house to its limits. GW Harrison blesses us with three slots over the weekend. Australian groove genius Sonny Fodera will harness the power of tech house as demonstrated in his sold-out Printworks London show.
On Sunday, Ellie Cocks welcomes us back to the party with her second set of the weekend. Michael Bibi plays out his scenic electronic soundscapes. The London-based (or VibesVille, according to his Soundcloud) DJ uses tech house as the vehicle to paradise. Skream will close the night with his enthusiastic and eclectic touch behind the decks.
On Monday, catch Joel Corry as he rides on bouncy basslines and snappy vocals, filling our heads and hearts with simply infectious hits. From "Liquor Store" trips until it's time for "BED," the house producer's tunes are for staying lit all day and through the night.
Closing the festival is DJ EZ, whose two widely-shared Boiler Room sets are blessed collections of timeless Garage tracks. Abode is your next best bet to gather around the booth of this gifted selector.
