On Saturday, October 24, Danny Tenaglia brings his legendary Boo Yourself party to The Room at Superior Ingredients for a special Halloween session in Brooklyn.

A true New York dance music legend, Tenaglia has spent decades behind the decks building a reputation around long sets, deep musical knowledge, and the freedom to take a dance floor wherever the night calls for. Boo Yourself gives him several hours to do exactly that, moving through house classics, rolling drums, techno, disco, and everything in between.

For Tenaglia, a set has never been about staying inside one sound. Classic records can sit alongside tougher club cuts, percussion heavy selections, unexpected throwbacks, and music pulled from across different eras. It is that sense of unpredictability that has made his extended performances such an important part of New York nightlife.

Boo Yourself has become one of Tenaglia’s legendary Halloween traditions, built around costumes, a packed dance floor, and plenty of time for the music to unfold. This year, the party lands inside The Room at Superior Ingredients, putting one of New York’s most celebrated DJs in a setting where every record can hit a little closer.

Music Is The Answer (Dancin' & Prancin')

We’re excited to host Danny Tenaglia for several hours behind the decks as Boo Yourself returns to New York. Come ready for house classics, drums, techno, surprises, and a proper journey through the music that has defined generations of dance floors.

Doubleheader

Gray Area is pioneering the "Doubleheader" event series, drawing inspiration from back-to-back baseball games to showcase artists with similar styles but unique fan bases. By having one artist follow another and culminating in a collaborative back-to-back (B2B) set, Doubleheader aims to create a powerful platform for musical discovery and cross-pollination. Embracing the "B2B" spirit, the initiative seeks to introduce audiences to new sounds while strengthening the dance music ecosystem.
