Nothing beats ringing in the new year more than a festival. The DJ adjusts their set accordingly, executed perfectly for the countdown. The visuals bend and swirl with the music, making it so that everyone is completely present and focused on the moment. Finally, the clock starts to count down. It hits zero, and confetti blasts through the air. You’re surrounded by friends and strangers bursting with excitement as you rejoice in the new beginings and dance late into the night. And this is only one night of the almost two-week-long festival that is Epizode. You’re in for a treat when you make it to the new year and realize you still have seven full days of partying ahead of you.
This jam-packed festival is a non-stop party that buzzes 24/7. By day, festival-goers can re-balance from the late nights with yoga, play dress-up at costume parties, work up a sweat with beach volleyball, adorn yourself with glitter and paint at body-art stations, and enjoy surprise performances by secret acts. All while you soak up the sun of Vietnam’s blissful Phu Quoc island.
At night, the atmosphere at Epizode scorches with entrancing soundscapes and cutting-edge light shows that make it impossible to stand still.
If that wasn’t enough, Epizode takes place on the largest island of Vietnam. With its inimitable relaxed island vibe amidst the clear, warm waters of the Gulf of Thailand, this festival is an exciting and paradisal festival destination.
Epizode is the place to be for your NYE extravaganza! The festival draws more than 10,000 attendees from every corner of the world, and 2022 will be no different. This Vietnamese dance party is an iconic musical experience, all wrapped up in colorful sunrises and sunsets and tropical landscapes dancing along with you.
The star-studded lineup features electronic music legends such as microhouse connoisseur Ricardo Villalobos, two-time DJ Awards winner Jamie Jones, house and techno sensation Loco Dice, techno queen Deborah de Luca, underground house and techno visionary Dubfire, gods of groovy, stripped-back underground house music Apollonia, Ukrainian DJ Nastia, and Swiss house technician Sonja Moonear.
The marathon event also includes a laundry list of stellar European and Asian talents, including Archie Hamilton, Fideles, Vlada, Mickey Zhang, Louise Chen, Ouissam, Roustam, Sunju Hargun, and Yaya. All bringing their unique rhythms to the picturesque beach on the Phu Quoc island.
Epizode rescheduled its fifth anniversary celebration for the second time, pushing the dates back to December 28th, 2022 – January 8th, 2023. This decision comes after careful consideration of the ongoing pandemic.
When the first push back happened in 2020, Epizode provided its ticket holders with the option of keeping their ticket and gave everyone a bonus multi-pass ticket, free of charge! Good things do come to those who wait.
While it currently doesn’t look like 2021 ticket holders will get an extra ticket, they do have the option of keeping their current ticket and using it for the 2022 edition. But if you don’t already have a ticket, this second reschedule only gives you more time to buy one, plan accommodations, and mentally and physically prepare for the 24 hour, 12-day event.
