Latin superstar Nicky Jam lights up the stage at Hï this summer! His one-off concert at neighboring Ushuaïa in May this year was a huge success, so Hï snapped him up for four consecutive Mondays throughout July and August alongside special guests Alok and Oscar Saiz. Nicky Jam is easily one of Spanish-language music’s most popular performers. Singer, songwriter, and Grammy Award winner, he has fans around the world and certainly knows how to work the crowd. Nicky Jam was born in Boston, Massachusetts, but relocated to Barrio Obrero in Puerto Rico at the age of six. In 1994, when he was only 14, Nicky Jam released his debut album ...Distinto A Los Demás and subsequently teamed up with the likes of Daddy Yankee to create hits that would circle the world. He’s also worked with icons such as Farruko, J Balvin as well as Will Smith on the 2018 FIFA World Cup Anthem. In 2001, Nicky Jam released his Haciendo Escante album which skyrocketed him to being one of the biggest reggaeton artists in the world, a coveted spot he still holds. Moving to Colombia in 2010, his career was rejuvenated once again and what followed from that was a string of releases that once again proved his status as one of the world's most wanted Latin performers. One of Brazil’s biggest artists, Alok, will be joining Nicky Jam at Hï as a special guest. The DJ has made history by becoming the first Brazilian to have a residency in the main room for nine weeks and the reviews so far have been amazing! Alok is the most listened to Brazilian artist in the world, and in 2021 was named 4th Best DJ in the world by DJ Mag in their top 100 poll.
