have an impressively rich sound palette. These space-age DJs create their own universe - one that stands out with a mix of uptempo house, minimal funk, electro, and UK garage. We’re incredibly excited to kick off the summer of 2023 with Oden & Fatzo on The Roof of Superior Ingredients on Sunday, May 21.

As a live electronic act, Oden & Fatzo are best known for their complex grooves, breakbeat rhythms, and psychedelic flourishes. Frequently donning the flight suits of friendly astronauts, their galactic garb is a playful nod to their cosmic grooves. Yet however spacey they might seem, their erratically funky house and disco sound always seem to land with listeners.

Their hit track “Lauren (I Can’t Stay Forever)” masterfully recalls the sounds of French touch and smooth disco house. The subtle notes of nostalgia resonated with the global dancefloor in 2021, sparking the track to become a hit that has reached nearly 30 million streams on Spotify, remained in the Beatport Deep House top 100 for a staggering 16 months (at writing), and received epic remixes by Claptone and the late Jamie Roy.

Lauren (I Can't Stay Forever)

, Oden & Fatzo continue their space-age adventures through inspired storytelling and wacky visuals on their EPs. Their extraterrestrial vision has allowed them to collaborate with talented French house artists like Herr Krank and Theos while promoting emerging talents closer to their own universe.

After rocking the biggest French nightclubs like Rex Club and Dehors Brut, dance music institutions like Amnesia and DC-10 Ibiza, and their epic

set at Fly Open Air in 2022, these three are ready to fly to new horizons, including New York.

Joining the infamous French trio are three artists Gray Area has had the pleasure of witnessing the rise of.

The Sound of Violence

is a master of melody and groove. His releases on Get Physical,

, and Burning Man's DSTRKT overflow with the essence of a deep playa sunrise providing the perfect aesthetic to get lost in the music.

I Need

Making his mark with a slew of stand-out tracks on Kitsune, New York-based producer and DJ

compelling and sometimes experimental sound makes for a uniquely upbeat indie-house style that can belong to no one else but him.

Trampoline Counting Stars - Luzi Tudor Remix

made an explosive debut on Lane 8's This Never Happened in 2021 with her mesmerizing track "Warrior," a five-minute journey filled with pulsating strings, dazzling synths, and masterful composition. She's continued to release breathtaking, heart-rending music since.

This kind of lineup is meant for summer nights and rooftop vibes. Luckily for Brooklyn, that’s exactly what The Roof at Superior Ingredients provides. The 5,000-square-foot rooftop has unobstructed, show-stopping views of the New York City skyline. This upscale lounge will have you dancing on clouds, as one of the best places in the city to experience warmth, sound, and sight.

Don’t miss an evening of soulful summer funk, groovy melodics, and feel-good house with these French cosmonauts and their special guests. Plus, who knows when they’ll be back through this galaxy?
