Event Recommendation
Grammy-award winner Paul van Dyk brings Shine back to the White Isle for another summer of trance! Every Thursday from midnight until 6 a.m., you can expect a whole host of classic tunes booming through Eden Ibiza, and you’ll be dancing alongside other diehard trance fans to some of the best DJs in the genre. On Thursday, August 11, Paul Van Dyk will be joined by Bryan Kearney, Alex M.O.R.P.H., and Stephen Kirkwood—get your tickets quickly! Eden opened in 1999 and ever since then, the club has made every effort to dominate the San Antonio clubbing scene. Located just across the road from San Antonio’s other megaclub, Es Paradis, meant that both venues have been kept on their toes over the years, always pushing for the top spot. Eden’s later refurb saw the addition of its impressiveVOID sound system—some say it’s one of the best on the island and we agree! Paul van Dyk has been synonymous with trance music since he began DJing in the early 1990s. His 1993 remix of Humate’s “Love Stimulation,” plus the 1994 classic “For an Angel,” crafted a signature sound that was emulated throughout the dance music scene. Throughout his career, Paul van Dyk has since sold more than 300 million albums worldwide. He was twice voted in at the number 1 spot on the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs poll and has headlined almost every festival and club around the world. With 11 studio albums, his own radio show, and record label, Vandit, PvD shows no signs of slowing down. Bryan Kearney is an Irish DJ/producer and trance aficionado. From Sunrise Festival in Poland to Sensation White in Melbourne, Australia, his energetic style melds with his incredible ability at being able to perfectly read the room and take the dancefloor on a journey. German DJ and producer Alex M.O.R.P.H. (aka Alexander Mieling) released his first single in 1996 on the Seelenlandschaften label, followed by Clubbgroove Records, Paul Van Dyk’s Vandit imprint, and more. The veteran spinner is a fan favorite of the #TranceFamily worldwide. Noted as one of the hardest working DJs in the UK electronic music scene, Glaswegian Stephen Kirkwood is making his way over to Eden Ibiza to play his signature hybrid sound of modern techno mixed with classic trance. He’s graced many a stage, including at Cream Amnesia, Ministry of Sound (London), Privilege (Ibiza), SWG3 (Glasgow), o2 ABC (Glasgow), Heineken Arena (Amsterdam), Venus (Manchester), Sub Club (Glasgow), and Grotesque Festival (Netherlands).
