Overview

For the first time in its history, Terminal V Festival extends to two full days on Saturday, April 16th and Sunday, 17th, 2022. What started as a one-day, single-room warehouse party back in April 2017, with a mere 2500 attendees, has blossomed to a massive multi-room festival with some house and techno's most in-demand DJs and producers.

The Edinburgh festival was postponed from its original date in October 2021 due to COVID restrictions. So, to make up for the lost time, they have added 25 new acts to their already impressive bill.

This iteration of this festival is aptly named 'Resurgence,' referencing its eventual return after several pushbacks that were outside of its control. The hiatus lasted nearly two years, but Terminal V's proves it as a leading figure of Edinburgh's thriving dance scene.

The extensive lineup is a who's who of the modern underground movement. Prolific producer and dance floor destroyer Mall Grab will share the weekend with Chaos in the CBD, who have always called music a family affair. The New Zealand-born brothers inherited their love of music from their parents, who brought them up on a diet of new wave and early electronica.

Also on the lineup is DJ Mag Best of British award winner Ewan McVicar who's hit remix of "Tell Me Something Good" dominated festivals in 2021.

Spanish-born, Berlin-based Héctor Oaks will bring his crate of vinyl and expert-level selection to the dancefloor.

The lineup also includes some of the legendary architects of the techno movement. The leader of Detroit outfit Urban Tribe and original masked DJ, Stingray 313, rings his trademark fast-paced electro sound to Terminal V. While fellow Detroit native, minimal techno pioneer, and Underground Resistance co-founder Robert Hood will drop one of his acclaimed live hardware sets.

Italian duo, 999999999; queen of techno, Helena Hauff; three-time DJ Awards winner, Sven Väth; Berghain heavyweight Marcel Dettman; high energy acid techno artist, Amelie Lens; Belgrade-based DJ, Tijana T; the always masterful Ben UFO; jungle and rave mastermind Special Request, and legendary techno originator Ben Sims are all slated to perform as well.
