Overview
This summer, internationally acclaimed Haitian DJ and producer Francis Mercier launches his debut Ibiza residency, Sòley, at Chinois Ibiza. Running every Friday from June 13 to August 1, 2025, this eight-week series promises an immersive journey through Afro house, deep rhythms, and ancestral beats that connect us all.
Sòley, meaning "sun" in Haitian Creole, radiates warmth, positivity, and energy, celebrating a fusion of musical cultures. From midnight till dawn, attendees will be enveloped in the sounds of African drums, the soulful sounds of the Levant, and the joy of the Caribbean.
Mercier, known for his ethnically rich sound that comprises deep, melodic, and worldly textures, has curated a lineup featuring artists from all corners of the world. Guest DJs include Major League DJz, Giolì & Assia, Kitty Amor, Nitefreak, Emmanuel Jal, and more, each bringing their unique cultural roots into their performances.
Chinois Ibiza, nestled within Marina Ibiza's glamorous heart, offers a fresh and sophisticated nightlife experience, effortlessly blending elegance with underground vibes. Formerly known as Heart Ibiza, the venue pairs cutting-edge sound and immersive visual artistry, creating an intimate clubbing atmosphere. Its carefully curated programming includes renowned international artists and emerging talent across diverse genres, from deep house to Afro beats. Mercier's impressive career includes performances at Coachella, EDC Las Vegas, Ultra Buenos Aires, and a headline show at Egypt's Giza Pyramids. His hit "Sete" spent four months in the Beatport Top 10, and he has collaborated with artists like Diplo, BLOND:ish, and Swedish House Mafia.
