A household name in dance music with handsome streaming numbers and over a decade’s worth of hits in his catalog, Dirty South is a DJ and producer who’s highly regarded in the scene. This Serbian-Australian producer, birth name Dragan Roganović, originally started as a mashup artist at the young age of 13 after relocating to Melbourne, Australia where he currently resides.

In 2004, he put out the single “Sleazy”, his first official production under Dirty South and only a year later was signed by Australian label Vicious Vinyl Records. Then came the great collaboration of Dirty South and Alesso in 2012 which resulted in the chart-topping, timeless track known as “City of Dreams”, undoubtedly Dirty South’s best track to date.. This uplifting, progressive house classic can still be heard at festivals today around the globe as thousands chime in along with Robert Haze for the simple few lines that got millions hooked.

Dirty South’s sound is constantly evolving, and it’s easy to see that in his discography over the years. He has dabbled in pop-like work, moodier club-driven vibes, and has even scored and directed his own indie film.

Since getting his start, Melbourne-based DJ has received numerous honors for his work, including: two ARIA nominations for “Best Dance Release” in 2005 and 2006, he was voted “Most Popular Producer Nationally” in the 2007 InTheMix 50 DJ Poll, he was the first Australian artist since 1999 to win one of Pete Tong's Essential New Tune award, and he achieved the number one position in the Australian Club Charts with his remix of "It's Too Late" by Evermore in late 2006. He was also ranked second in the annual InTheMix 50 DJ Poll in 2007 and has been ranked in the DJ Mag Top 100 DJ Poll every year since 2007.
