Overview
On a steady rise since 2016, Elena Pavla is one of Russia’s top DJs. Located in Moscow, the Russian electronic artist performs and produces tech house, progressive, minimal, and a range of sounds between. She performs around Russia and internationally, making heads turn and bodies move with her worldly sound and positive energy. Pavla is considered the 89th most popular DJ in Europe and the third in Russia, via DJane.
Alongside her DJ career, she also creates her own unique sound, dropping two projects in 2020, A Panda from Sao Paulo and Secret Kitchen– both with the ability to put anyone who listens in a dance trance. As her most recent release, Pavla dropped an hour-long mix on SoundCloud five months ago, titled “Mars.” This mix is likely inspired by the birth of her son.
Several labels have given her music a platform over the years, including Low Groove, Groove33, MUR Records, Natura Viva, and Bush Records. Currently, she’s a label manager on the Lemon-Aid Music label in Spain, which also hosts David Ortega, Magate, WhoAndWho, Gruuve, and 12Tones.
Starting her career in 2016, Elena Pavla has sustained her momentum, driven by passion
and a desire to improve in her craft. Because of her dedication, she’s delivered infectious electronic sounds all around the world, in countries like Italy, Germany, Norway, England, Spain, Malta, Serbia, and much more. She can often be found playing in Medellin, Columbia. Pavla’s last show was with Marika Rossa, Tania, and Vess at an event called Girls Love Techno in Romania.
Outside of music, she is a new mother to her “little panda,” a son named Mars, who she’s been heavily inspired by. In a recent birthday post, she made a video about “mom life” and
how Mars has changed up her routine but is smiling through it. Although the birth of her son has changed her life, it doesn’t seem like it’ll stop her from doing what she loves.
According to her Instagram, she took a hiatus from music for her pregnancy but announced in
June of this year that she’d be ready for events in September. It seems she may have made that
return with a recent video where she’s seen performing.
