Overview

Born in Argentina, Guti's musical roots are steeped in jazz and rock. Before making waves in the electronic music scene, he was the heart of Jóvenes Pordioseros, a Buenos Aires band that captivated fans both locally and internationally with its entrancing melodies. While many would have been content basking in the rock limelight, Guti's spirit yearned for more.

Around 2007, he ventured into the realms of house and techno, setting forth on a journey that would later solidify his stature on the global dance canvas. His ingenuity quickly caught the attention of industry giants, notably Loco Dice and the Desolat label. By 2008, after just a year into his new genre, Guti was already a recognized face in Europe's elite club scene.

Berlin, in 2008, provided the backdrop for his artistic evolution. Here, alongside talents like Seth Troxler and Ryan Crosson, Guti fine-tuned his production skills. This period bore hits like "You've Got Me" and "Every Cow Has A Bird", propelling him onto big labels such as Crosstown Rebels and Supplement Facts.

Fast forward to 2009, and Guti was showcasing his unique sonic signature with releases like "Las Cosas Que No Se Tocan". His 2011 album, "Patio de Juegos", furthered his reputation, carving a niche for him in the electronic music world. Ibiza, in 2012, saw him dominate stages and by 2013, he had moved to Barcelona, crafting "Rompecorazones" – a jazz-infused masterpiece.

In the summer of 2023, Guti's prominence in the global electronic music scene was unmistakably evident. He teamed up with Dani Ramos to perform in the Club Room at Hï Ibiza, playing for Damian Lazarus while the iconic Black Coffee dominated the main room. The energy didn't stop there; Guti graced the decks at Club Space in Miami multiple times, once succeeding Nic Fanciulli and on another occasion, sharing the stage with powerhouses Marco Carola and Franky Rizardo.

The Swiss Alps echoed with his beats as he delivered a mesmerizing set at the Caprices Festival, performing alongside industry titans like Jamie Jones, Luciano, and Pawsa. Ibiza witnessed more of his magic when he played at Abode at Eden. In Málaga, Spain, he had the honor of closing out for The Martinez Brothers at the Sophie Festival. The legendary DC10 in Ibiza resonated with his tunes as he performed for Michael Bibi's Solid Grooves event, sharing the lineup with renowned artists such as AMÉMÉ, BLOND:ISH, and Dennis Cruz.
