Melon Bomb

Melon Bomb is the taken name of an Ibiza-based DJ collective and party brand. Since its emergence in 2015, the group has become one of Ibiza’s most well-known names and is often cited as an earnest advocate of the island’s hedonistic vibes.

Melon Bomb is Ben Santiago, Paul Reynolds, Scott Gray, and Corbi, all of whom have enjoyed their own individual success in the industry. Though finding common ground between four separate artists could be challenging, the DJs share an innate passion for music and a desire to deliver an immersive experience that epitomizes the spirit of Ibiza.

Over the years, Melon Bomb has morphed from a niche, locally-loved party crew into a sought-after name for clubbing line-ups. Their events have graced the stages of island favorites like Pacha, Tanit Beach, and their original stomping ground in Pikes Hotel. In the summer of 2022, the group was recruited for multiple dates at Hï Ibiza’s summer showcase Glitterbox. With jaw-dropping production and exceptional lineups, Glitterbox is a joyous celebration of LGBT and club-kid culture. The “good vibes” feeling of Melon Bomb’s disco/house mix was a perfect addition to the summer residency.

When they’re not hopping around the island from party to party, the boys of Melon Bomb are mixing and releasing their popular Soundcloud series “When Life Gives You Melons.” Now on their fourth installment, the mixes showcase their unique take on straightforward house perfectly blended with elements of funk and disco.

In Ibiza and around Europe, it’s apparent that the cool, uplifting “Melon vibe” is infectious. For three consecutive years, the group took home the award for the Best Recurring Event at the Best of Ibiza Awards. As the Melon-tinged parties begin to rack up summer after summer, you can rest assured that Melon Bomb will play a significant part in Ibiza’s clubbing landscape for years to come.
