Get ready to put on your dancing shoes and sequin up for another trip to Hï Ibiza for an unmatched night of fun and frolic! Nothing encapsulates the spirit of Ibiza better than the vivacious atmosphere of Glitterbox. Conjured by the masterminds behind Defected, the party has been rocking the island since 2014, finding its true home at Hï Ibiza in 2017. Every Sunday night is an explosion of color and music, a beautiful mix of house, funk, and disco beats that keep you dancing until the early hours. This edition promises a stellar lineup of electronic music magicians, who are all set to entertain you with reimagined house, disco, and funk from midnight till the break of dawn. The party doesn't stop at the dance floor; it spills over to the performers, dancers, and drag queens who come together to create a spectacle that's as visually stunning as it is entertaining. The live PA for the week comes from non-other than Kathy Sledge. The Grammy-nominated icon is celebrated for her diverse talent as a singer, songwriter, author, producer, and manager, has gained global acclaim for her profound contributions to music, most notably as the signature voice of Sister Sledge behind anthems like "We Are Family". Her dynamic career spans chart-topping hits, platinum albums, successful genre explorations, collaborations with esteemed artists, and innovative stage and screen productions. And who could forget the infamous Wild Corner? Tucked inside Hï Ibiza's unisex restroom, the Wild Corner has a DJ booth and dance floor that have seen some of the most electrifying sets on the island. This week it's hosted by island favorites, Melon Bomb. Be ready to take your boogie to the bathroom; you never know who you might bump into! Since its early days at the now-closed club Booom! and the Space Terrace, Glitterbox has continued to evolve and refine its offering. Today, it's not just a party; it's an experience. It's a journey back to the vivid disco era of the '70s, '80s, and '90s, peppered with the glamour and sass of today. This is not just any party; it's THE party. The lineup Brazilian DJ and producer Aline Rocha, known for her unique blend of house, groove, disco, and soulful sounds since 2005, garnered global acclaim for performances in two virtual Defected Records festivals and at the Defected Croatia Festival, as the only Brazilian woman representative, alongside names like Sam Divine, Bob Sinclar, and Carl Cox, attributing her success to her intense musical research and creativity behind the decks. Dan Shake is renowned for his dynamic performances and productions, and rose to fame after an initial connection with Moodymann led to a debut on Mahogani Music; since then, he's crafted a signature sound by blending the joy of funk, disco, and soul rarities into fresh contexts, achieving global acclaim through performances at major festivals and international venues, all while maintaining his authentic passion for the dancefloor and an unpretentious approach to the industry. The four-strong DJ collective of Luke Howard, Severino Panzetta, James Hillard, and Jim Stanton started off their careers by creating a safe queer space for disco lovers in London, Later, Horse Meat Disco added residencies in dance capitals of the world, Berlin, New York, and Lisbon to name a few. Katie Goodman, lauded for her extraordinary energy and deep knowledge of music spanning from house party-starters to disco rarities, has made her mark performing at globally renowned stages like We Are FSTVL, ADE, Defected Croatia, and Ministry Of Sound. She has a DJing and Production degree and continues to refine her skills alongside industry titans, earning a reputation as an unstoppable force in dance music. Formed by Scott Gray, Paul Reynolds, Ben Santiago and Corbi, Melon Bomb is one of the most well-known party brands on the island, with residencies at both Hï Ibiza and Pikes. House and disco are at the forefront of what they do and over the years they have released tracks on imprints such as Editorial Recording and Hot Digits. Melvo Baptiste started his Glitterbox journey by hosting the Glitterbox radio show in 2017 and becoming the voice of the brand. His debut release on the label was a turning point in Baptiste’s career and gained support from music legends such as Louie Vega, Dave Lee, and Horse Meat Disco. NYC-based Natasha Diggs has been on the scene for over a decade and has a deep knowledge of music, allowing her to lead a crowd on an unforgettable journey. Known for dipping in and out of genres, there could be a few surprises this Sunday at Hï Ibiza.
