 is a boutique creative studio, record label, and cultural platform that celebrates Afro-centric music, storytelling, and artistry through live events, immersive experiences, and collaborations. Founded in 2016 by Nigerian-born, NYC-based multidisciplinary artist 

 and visual artist/filmmaker Chelsea Odufu, Tech Afrique bridges music, art, and culture to create spaces that empower rising names and connect audiences.

At its core, Tech Afrique is about fostering meaningful links—between sound and culture, past and future, musicians and fans. With a focus on underrepresented BIPOC voices, the platform elevates DJs, producers, and visual creatives, providing opportunities to thrive on global stages while honoring the roots of African music and its modern interpretations.

Eli Fola—a commemorated sound artist, DJ, and saxophonist—pioneered 

, an innovative genre-bending fusion of AfroHouse, techno, jazz, and classical music. Known for his immersive live sets, where his signature saxophone creates an emotional bridge between traditional Nigerian rhythms and global house sounds, Eli has played big parties like Art Basel and Burning Man. His work has brought him collaborations with icons like Swizz Beatz, Alicia Keys, and afro house heavyweights like 

Chelsea Odufu brings a unique vision as Tech Afrique’s co-founder, fusing her background in experimental video art and cultural activism. Her work centers on using music as a tool for healing, connection, and representation, aligning the platform’s artistic goals with a broader mission to boost Afro-futuristic ingenuity and underrepresented voices.

Tech Afrique’s events are a celebration of sound and culture, carefully curated to bring together leading Afro-centric minds with audiences eager to immerse themselves in the rhythm of the music. From New York City rooftops to the energy of Tulum, each event blends the power of AfroHouse, Amapiano, techno, and global sounds, creating spaces that feel intimate yet expansive.

Playing on the Maxa Art Car at Burning man this year was a dream come through for me. The set on Wednesday night was my last set on the playa before the rain storm. I remember riding my bicycle for almost 30 minute from my camp with my crew to Maxa Camp to catch the car before it departed to the deep playa, we were greeted with warm reception by the crew at the entrance of the car. The energy of that night was so magical and honestly it was one of the highlights of my Burning Man experience this year. This set is definitely my favorite performance on the playa, the energy and the magic of Playa was felt that night. I am super excited to continue sharing my music with the Maxa Camp family
