Founded in 2016 by Nigerian-born, NYC-based multidisciplinary artist Eli Fola and visual artist/filmmaker Chelsea Odufu, Tech Afrique bridges music, art, and culture to create spaces that empower rising names and connect audiences.

Eli Fola—a commemorated sound artist, DJ, and saxophonist—pioneered Yoruba Tech Soul, an innovative genre-bending fusion of AfroHouse, techno, jazz, and classical music. Chelsea Odufu brings a unique vision as Tech Afrique’s co-founder, fusing her background in experimental video art and cultural activism.
