Thursdays in Ibiza are for techno.
Afterlife has had a massive impact on the scene since its creation in 2016. Now in its third year of residency at Hï Ibiza, you can expect only the best in techno pumping through the night from midnight until 6 am. The team showcases artists from the Afterlife Records label and promotes up-and-coming talent. Reviews for the events throughout summer so far have been incredible!
Tale of Us will close the Theatre weekly under the iconic falling man, but not before an incredible line-up of the world’s best techno and electronic music DJs precede them. The Club will have a faster, heavier Berlin-style techno sound closed by Kobosil on September 1st. Don’t forget to check out the Wild Corner - quite possibly the most interesting unisex bathrooms in the world - where The Element will be holding down the fort.
What makes an Afterlife party different is the music and their ability to fully immerse you with their digital art installations, incredible light, and laser shows, and of course, the iconic Afterlife insignia levitating above the dancefloor.
Italian DJ and production duo Carmine Conte & Matteo Milleri, more commonly known as Tale of Us, met at a young age and made their electronic music debut in 2011 with “Dark Song” after moving to Berlin and starting to record together. Named one of DJ Mag’s top 100 alternative DJs in 2018, expect an emotional musical journey from this experimental duo.
Mind Against is an Italian-born, Berlin-based duo composed of Alessandro and Federico Fognini. Their first single was released in 2012 on the Life and Death label, followed by further releases on Pangent and Tale Of Us’ Afterlife. They’ll be taking the Hï crowd on a journey, that’s for sure!
Greek DJ and producer Argy has been on the scene for over a decade, playing anything from minimal house to techno. He has releases on Cocoon, Desolat, Cuttin' Headz, Play It Say It, and Crosstown Rebels (to name just a few) and has played parties on some of the most well-known party islands in the world; Mykonos and, of course, Ibiza.
Experience the high-octane, dark side of techno with Berlin-born DJ Kobosil. Starting his DJ career at 17, he has now had releases on Berghain's in-house label Ostgut Ton and his own R - Label Group imprint.
DJ and label owner Somewhen is part of Berlin’s new techno generation and became drawn to the sounds of techno during his first clubbing experience in the German capital. His well-defined sound expertly blends of hypnotic repetition and complex details.
Kanucia is firmly rooted in the Berlin music scene, as part of the EINHUNDERT crew and as a selector, DJ and producerer in her own right.
The Element, from Malta, started DJing in the early 90s and was the driving force behind Cosa Nostra in Malta, which became home to the likes of Tale of Us, Mind Against, Matthew Johnson, Richie Hawtin, John Digweed, Green Velvet, Sasha, Dixon, DJ Tennis, Art Department and many more.
