Taking us on an ethnically-enriched journey through dance music, Anyasa brings a taste of his Indian culture to New York, March 24th 2024, on The Roof of Superior Ingredients.

Hailing from the south-western coast of Goa, India, Anish Hood aka Anyasa is one of Asia’s most successful and established names within electronic music.

After over a decade of touring globally and playing renowned festivals as an EDM DJ, it was during the 2019 pandemic that Anish was able to take the time to reflect on his sonic path and true musical calling. It was with this, that his Anyasa moniker was born.

In an introspective turn of events, he decided on reinventing himself entirely, honing in on a sound that was him to his core. Augmented and infused with some of the most cinematic soundscapes and esteemed voices from his native country, the Anyasa project has been making waves internationally.

The first Indian artist to be signed to Above & Beyond’s profound Anjunadeep label, his melodic, nuanced productions ooze with emotion and euphoric nostalgia, which now sees him touring around India, pushing the country’s evolving dance music scene and playing the music he’s always wanted to play.

Joining the Indian superstar is none other than the extraordinary duo formed by Kaushal and Sonia, both seasoned musicians who have ventured into the realms of producing and DJing.

After achieving major success touring across the most magical spots in their stomping grounds of India, this dynamic duo is now coming to the states to play at MMW, Sound LA, San Francisco Mint, The Brooklyn Mirage, and of course, our beloved home, The Roof of Superior Ingredients.

Kaushal, with his rich background as a multi-instrumentalist, brings a unique organic texture to their electronic compositions. Sonia, on the other hand, captivates with her versatile vocals that effortlessly bridge ethereal soundscapes and robust thematic tunes.

To kick off the party on this incredible day, we have the amazing duo known as DJ Sana, who have graced audiences all over the UK and on Rinse FM. Joining the lineup to get things started is Sanvero, a dynamic duo of Chilean and Italian blood based out of NYC, having recently performed at the Brooklyn Mirage and We Belong Here festival.
