OMAR+
Queens, New York

Overview
After sold-out tours across the UK, North America, and Australia/New Zealand, landmark debuts at Coachella and Red Rocks, and being named one of Mixmag's Top Breakthrough DJs, Omar+ makes his return to New York for a special extended set at Knockdown Center on Saturday, January 30th.
Known for blending house grooves with his own RnB-inspired vocals, Omar+ has become one of the fastest-rising artists in electronic music. Raised just outside London, he found his direction through years spent immersed in the city's club culture, drawing inspiration from nights at fabric and Phonox while developing a sound that bridges vocal songwriting with club-focused production.

Over the past two years, that vision has turned into global momentum. Tracks like "Back It Up" with Josh Baker and "Make Believe" with Luke Dean have become defining releases, with the latter earning BBC Radio 1's Hottest Record recognition and climbing the UK Official Charts. His music has become a staple in the sets of leading selectors while collaborations with Josh Baker, Ben Stirling, Obskür, bullet tooth, and Luke Dean have pushed his profile onto dancefloors from London to Los Angeles.
The rise hasn't stopped in the studio. Omar+ has gone on to debut at Reading & Leeds Festival, Warehouse Project, ADE, Thuishaven, Coachella, Red Rocks, EDC Las Vegas, HARD Summer, Paradise Ibiza, and many of the world's biggest festivals and clubs, while sold-out headline tours have confirmed the growing demand for his music. Support from Mixmag, NME, Beatportal, BBC Radio 1, Shazam, and some of house music's biggest DJs has positioned him among the most exciting names of his generation.

Now he returns to New York for an extended session inside Knockdown Center, giving him the time to move through every side of his sound—from rolling house grooves and vocal-driven records to the deeper selections that have made him one of dance music's most talked-about new artists.
