Patrick Topping Open-To-Close, New Year’s Week at Refuge
On December 30, Patrick Topping lands at Refuge for a special New Year’s Week open-to-close session, bringing one of the most in demand names in house and techno to the club for a night built around serious dancefloor energy.
Hailing from Newcastle, England, Topping has spent more than a decade establishing himself across the world’s leading clubs and festivals. Since breaking through in 2013, he has gone on to play Tomorrowland, Coachella, Awakenings, Ultra, DC10, Hï Ibiza, and countless other major stages, earning a reputation for sets that move confidently between house, tech house, and techno.
Outside the booth, Topping is the founder of Trick, his record label and international event series launched in 2019. What began as an outlet for his own productions has grown into one of the most recognised names in the underground, surpassing 125 releases while supporting both emerging and established artists. Trick has also hosted events, festival stages, and residencies across Ibiza, the UK, Europe, Australia, and the United States.
As a producer, Topping has released more than 100 tracks and remixes, including “Be Sharp Say Nowt,” which achieved UK Silver certification, alongside collaborations with Green Velvet and Kevin Saunderson. His recent output has continued to focus on direct, club ready records made for long nights and packed rooms.
With New Year’s celebrations already underway, December 30 at Refuge gives fans the chance to catch Patrick Topping in a more intimate club setting before the calendar turns. Expect a night centered on house and techno with one of the genre’s most consistent selectors leading the room.
