One of Ibiza’s most talked about residencies returns to Hï on August 13, headed up by South African pioneer Black Coffee. As the first-ever Hï resident, Black Coffee’s reign is continuing through 2022 as his popularity and loyal following keeps growing exponentially. Black Coffee has come back stronger than ever for the 2022 season, consistently laying down some of the freshest techno and house you’re likely to see anywhere in Ibiza every Saturday night—the ultimate primetime slot in the Ibiza party calendar. Not only do you have Black Coffee headlining the Theatre, but forward-thinking selector Damian Lazarus will also be looking after business in The Club. From midnight until 6 a.m. you’ll be able to enjoy DJ Mag’s Number 1 Nightclub in the World! Theatre Black Coffee first entered the electronic music scene as a graduate of the Red Bull Music Academy and, ever since then, his career has skyrocketed. In 2016, he won Best Deep House DJ at the Ibiza-based DJ Awards. Now, as a double-platinum selling artist with collaborations under his belt alongside Drake, Alicia Keys, P. Diddy, and Beyoncé, we can only gaze in awe as he takes another music-thirsty crowd on an inexplicable journey every Saturday night. British DJ and producer DJ Harvey (aka Harvey Bassett) started his career as a hip-hop and electronic artist before moving over to house and garage. Harvey was previously the recipient of the Outstanding Contribution Award in recognition of his body of work and influence within the electronic music industry. His free-sprit style is as infectious as his track selections! DJEFF’s unique sounds pulls influencers from Africa, Europe, America, and Asia. He has releases on Pandora Records as well as his own label, Kazukuta Records. DJEFF is no stranger to the White Isle, having played Privilege as well as Berlin’s Watergate and Paris’s Rex Club, to name a few. Club Room Heading up the Club room at Hï is the aforementioned Damian Lazarus. DJ, producer, and head of Crosstown Rebels, his incredible DJ and production abilities could well leave you speechless. Expect an elevated experience when Lazarus takes to the decks. His wealth of experience at both Ibiza-based venues such as DC10 and Hï, as well as alfresco spots such for Robot Heart at Burning Man and the Mayan ruins in Mexico, means that he can bring a crowd together like no one else can. Goldcap (Berge Sahakian) is an American DJ and musician who started his career in 2006 after being introduced to electronic music. Having played alongside artists such as Eduardo Castillo, Acid Pauli, Henry Saiz, Nick Warren, Sander K, Low Tide, Canson, and Gab Rhome, Goldcap aims to deliver an organic sound. His style is regularly referred to as “Burning Man music,” so get ready to embrace the sounds of the Playa at Hï on Saturday, August 13. With over 20 years of experience as a DJ, French-born Maglia certainly knows how to control a dancefloor. He’s had his own venue in Mykonos since 2013 which has hosted the likes of Dixon, Seth Troxler, Bill Brewster, Honey Dijon, and many others, plus Maglia has also graced the decks of many other venues around the world.
