Damian Lazarus

Damian Lazarus is not only a skilled DJ and producer in his own right, he’s also a mastermind when it comes to many other elements of the music industry. Creatively, of course, he’s established his own sound as a musician, but he also has his hands in the worlds of event production and curation, through his flagship festival Day Zero, as well as his seminal Get Lost parties and Rebel Rave events, label management, through his two notable labels, Crosstown Rebels and Rebellion, and A&R, through his consistent effort to give new, exciting artists a platform in dance music.

Crosstown Rebels has been a big name in dance music for nearly two decades, and has given rise to some of the top names in the genre today, including Jamie Jones, Maceoplex, and Art Department. Lazarus’s events further these efforts, bringing both his own music—as well as the sounds of many other artists—to locales across the world. His Get Lost parties are known for their whopping 24-hour run times, and regularly welcome audiences in Miami, New York, and Barcelona. Similarly, Lazarus designed Day Zero to be a fully-enrossing experience, taking place in the jungles of Tulum and the deserts of Israel.

In his own musical career, Lazarus has also been quite prolific, harboring a long list of releases spanning studio albums, EPs, and singles, as well as compilation albums through his labels. The artist has also been part of several high profile collaborations, including 2021’s “Don’t Be Afraid,” for which he joined forces with Diplo and Jungle, as well as 2022’s “Start Over,” produced with Gorgon City and Leia Contois. Lazarus has performed across the globe, gracing the stages at venues like Hï Ibiza— where he appeared with Black Coffee for the venue’s 2022 closing party—Madrid’s LAB theCLUB, Miami’s Club Space, and many more.
