Defected Lands at Ushuaïa Ibiza for Milestone 25th Anniversary

Defected, the renowned house music label and party series, is making monumental moves at Ushuaïa Ibiza for its 25th anniversary in 2024. Dubbed Defected XXV, the 22-week residency, running every Tuesday from May 7th to October 1st, promises an unparalleled celebration of house music. Championing international house music stars, Defected XXV will feature a mix of underground favourites, enduring pioneers, and the hottest newcomers in the scene.

Ushuaïa Ibiza needs little introduction. A luxurious beach hotel by day, it transforms into a festival-like party destination by night, hosting the biggest names in dance music. Known for its top-tier production, custom visuals, and high-energy atmosphere, Ushuaïa provides an immersive experience like no other. From its humble beginnings as a beach shack to its current standing as a global dance music institution, Ushuaïa Ibiza continues to set the bar high.

The Lineup

Tuesday, July 9th sees a powerful lineup take the stage. Catch Hannah Wants, known for her bass-heavy sets.

Oden & Fatzo, the South African trio serving up their signature blend of soulful and melodic house. They've recently released their latest track "Tell Me What You Want" featuring Poppy Baskcomb on Defected Records. This new release follows their successful hit "Lady Love" and showcases their signature genre-hopping sound with engaging vocals and an addictive rhythm​.

Darius Syrossian, a firm favourite of the underground scene. Darius Syrossian has recently released the "Disco Slammer EP" on Nothing Else Matters, featuring tracks "Disco Slammer" and "Downlow." Additionally, he collaborated with DJ Sneak on the "Big Bizness" EP on Moxy Muzik​.

Coco & Breezy, the multi-talented DJ and designer duo who have recently released their new track "Manifest," blending house music with introspective rhythms, reflecting their deep connection to dance music culture.

J. Worra has been active with several exciting releases in 2024. She teamed up with Disco Lines and Anabel Englund for the high-energy house track "Cutting Loose," which explores themes of nightlife escapism and personal liberation​​. Additionally, her latest EP, "some ppl fall," released on Club Sweat, features tracks praised for their funky basslines and tech-inspired sounds, continuing to solidify her presence in the dance music scene​​. Another notable release is her "Sneaky Link (Extended Mix)" with Barney Bones on Ultra Records​
