On June 1st, we're taking over the roof of 

 with a doubleheader featuring two artists who bring their own distinct flavors to the dance music spectrum—New Jersey-based 

Avision has made his mark in music with a strong presence at top-tier clubs and festivals worldwide. From The Brooklyn Mirage and Time Warp NYC to Off Sonar in Barcelona, EDC Las Vegas, Space Miami, Watergate Berlin, and Stereo Montreal, his sets embody the raw energy of underground dance floors. 

 Ellum Audio, Drumcode, Hardgroove, and Truncate have solidified his reputation, with his debut album, 

, earning praise from DJ Mag UK as an “impressive body of work.” Beyond the booth, Avision launched Ground Rule Collective, a brand merging music, events, clothing, art, and food, with a successful event series already running at Superior Ingredients.

On the other side of the night, Yulia Niko brings a sound shaped by her time in Russia, New York, and now Berlin. With a residency at Watergate, she’s firmly embedded in the city’s underground scene, consistently delivering sets that balance depth and energy. Her music has found a home on Crosstown Rebels, influenced by artists like 

, is a deeply personal project that weaves live instrumentation and her own vocals into a narrative exploring loss and renewal, setting it apart from her previous work.

TWINSOUL (Deluxe)

 is a New York-born, Mexico City-based DJ who began her journey out of curiosity, teaching herself to mix as an outlet to share music with friends. Ali Mae's residency at Amaya helped her establish her unique sound, which she's continued to showcase at venues like House of Yes, Do Not Sit on the Furniture (Miami), and Goa Lisboa. Recently, she's performed at iconic spots such as Papaya Playa Project (Tulum), Radio Venao (Panama), and Kuná Festival (NYC), continuing to fuel her passion for connecting with the dance floor.

Joining Ali Mae is New York based talent Woke Brian and MISS PIPS. 

Together, Avision and Yulia Niko promise a night that bridges their two styles, creating a set that moves through deep, driving techno and melodic storytelling. This isn’t just another night on the rooftop—it’s a solid matchup of two artists bringing their sounds together in the heart of New York.

Gray Area is pioneering the "Doubleheader" event series, drawing inspiration from back-to-back baseball games to showcase artists with similar styles but unique fan bases. By having one artist follow another and culminating in a collaborative back-to-back (B2B) set, Doubleheader aims to create a powerful platform for musical discovery and cross-pollination. Embracing the "B2B" spirit, the initiative seeks to introduce audiences to new sounds while strengthening the dance music ecosystem.
