Doubleheader: Avision x Yulia Niko

On June 1st, we're taking over the roof of Superior Ingredients with a doubleheader featuring two artists who bring their own distinct flavors to the dance music spectrum—New Jersey-based Avision and Berlin-based Yulia Niko.

Avision has made his mark in music with a strong presence at top-tier clubs and festivals worldwide. From The Brooklyn Mirage and Time Warp NYC to Off Sonar in Barcelona, EDC Las Vegas, Space Miami, Watergate Berlin, and Stereo Montreal, his sets embody the raw energy of underground dance floors. His releases on Maceo Plex’s Ellum Audio, Drumcode, Hardgroove, and Truncate have solidified his reputation, with his debut album, In My Mind, earning praise from DJ Mag UK as an “impressive body of work.” Beyond the booth, Avision launched Ground Rule Collective, a brand merging music, events, clothing, art, and food, with a successful event series already running at Superior Ingredients.

On the other side of the night, Yulia Niko brings a sound shaped by her time in Russia, New York, and now Berlin. With a residency at Watergate, she’s firmly embedded in the city’s underground scene, consistently delivering sets that balance depth and energy. Her music has found a home on Crosstown Rebels, influenced by artists like Damian Lazarus. Her latest album, TWINSOUL, is a deeply personal project that weaves live instrumentation and her own vocals into a narrative exploring loss and renewal, setting it apart from her previous work.
