As New York City’s largest electronic happening of not just the summer but of the whole year, 

 has been at the helm of the city’s dance music scene since 2009. The three-day electronic music festival takes over Randall’s Island annually on Labor Day Weekend, dressing the sprawling greenery up with five grand stages, vibrant decor, and interactive experiences, complete with invigorating sounds from the most exciting names in dance music. Situated in a unique waterfront location hovering between Harlem, the South Bronx, and Queens on the East River, Randall’s Island offers an escape from the city with endless room to dance, while still granting an astonishing view of the concrete jungle.

This year’s Electric Zoo returns to Randall’s Island Park from September 1-3 with an electrifying lineup and edge-of-the-seat programming of stage takeovers, b2b sets, and special performances. The three-day dance music affair brings dozens of industry-leading names and main stage mainstays to the Big Apple, alongside rising stars, underground legends, and local names across the expansive electronic spectrum. 

Celebrating its 14th year, the 2023 edition will see exciting headliners like Alison Wonderland,

. GRiZ is set to perform three times over the weekend, which will be some of his last, as he announced an indefinite hiatus from the GRiZ project.

The 2023 edition kicks it up to a new level with exciting new stage takeovers.

 presents Purified. And renowned event organizer Jake Resnicow takes over a stage with his Dreamland worldwide festival debut.

Gray Area is teaming up with fellow New York scene leader Cityfox to unveil a new event concept— Megafox: a festival within a festival. The all-new fifth stage will combine Cityfox's decade-long reputation for immersive events with Gray Area's eclectic curation for a singular sonic journey.

Furthermore, the New York City festival facilitates some of the most exciting collaborative sets of the season. This year’s back-to-back sets include Zeds Dead b2b Griz, Boogie T b2b Dirt Monkey, Hi Lo b2b Eli Brown, Nora en Pure b2b
