Italian multi-instrumentalist, producer, singer-songwriter duo Giolì and Assia return to New York on September 17 to enliven Brooklyn Steel with their delicately crafted blend of techno, house, indie and pop. A uniquely talented partnership, they've carved a space all their own in dance music with a boundary-breaking live show that combines a B2B DJ set with Assia's gorgeously haunting vocals and Giolì's expert handling of the piano, handpan, and drums. Their return to Brooklyn will come just days after releasing their much anticipated third album 

Throughout their five-year creative partnership, they define themselves with a sound that draws from the thumping rhythms of techno, the ethereal textures of progressive, and a pop sensibility heightened by introspective, poetic lyricism. Just as defining, however, is their romantic relationship, a clear driving force in their success and artistry. What began as a business relationship—Giolì as the artist and Assia as the manager—blossomed into a love story that continues to inform and inspire the beauty in their music.

They debuted in 2017 with the release of "Stay Closer." Featuring Giolì on the handpan and Assia's ethereal vocals, they quickly established two of the core elements that make them such a uniquely compelling duo. In just over a year, the duo released "Something Special" on Spinnin', which earned them a coveted residency in Ibiza at Privilege. Their time in Ibiza brought the inspiration for their second album, 

, further cementing their melodic techno sound.

In 2019 they brought their intoxicating live show to YouTube and Facebook for a livestream experience that rivals Cercle sets. Set against the stunning backdrop of Milazzo, Sicily, they blended organic melodic beauty and slick techno beats. #DiesisLive, named after their record label, formed the blueprint for a series of epic livestreams that have earned them tens of millions of views and fans worldwide. They've since brought the concept to picturesque locations like a glacier in Iceland and an active volcano in the Aeolian Islands.
