Glitterbox's Grand Finale: The Closing Party at Hï Ibiza, Sunday, October 1, 2023.
We are soon approaching the end of another scintillating season, it might feel hard to choose which closing parties to attend. But there’s one disco-filled event that you simply cannot miss: the Glitterbox Closing Party at Hï Ibiza on Sunday, October 1.
From 11:30pm, you just know that Defected’s bedazzled sister brand is going to be bringing the heat to the world’s number-one club.
From its humble beginnings in the wild summer of 2013, Glitterbox has risen and grown to become the embodiment of Ibiza's passionate, inclusive spirit. It's a party that harks back to the golden eras of the '70s, '80s, and '90s, blending them seamlessly with the modern sounds of today.
It's a place where sequins, sass, and soul come together, where the music is not just heard but felt, and where every individual, regardless of age, gender, or background, is celebrated. It’s Glitterbox, after all!
This closing Sunday promises to be a night of unparalleled fun and thrills. The lineup, as always, is a curated blend of the old and the new, the legends and the rising stars.
Groove Armada, The Shapeshifters, Melvo Baptiste, Masters at Work, John Morales, SG Lewis, Cody Currie, and Gina Breeze and ready and raring to go (and so are we!).
But Glitterbox isn't just about the music. It's about the entire experience. The dancers, the drag queens, the live PAs – they all come together to create a spectacle that really needs to be experienced to be believed.
And, of course, there's the Wild Corner, Hï Ibiza's unisex restroom turned dance floor. It's unconventional, yes, but it’s a whole load of fun. They’re quite possibly the most exciting toilets in the world!
As we say goodbye to another season, it's essential to remember what Glitterbox stands for. In a world that's often divided, it's a beacon of unity, a place where love, acceptance, and music come together. It's a testament to the enduring spirit of Ibiza, a spirit that's been captured and spread across the globe by Glitterbox.
