 returns for an exclusive night on December 29, 2025. A legendary figure in global electronic music, Digweed will bring his masterful curation and flawless mixing to an intimate warehouse setting for one of his rare NYC appearances. 

 will be on the lineup for this masterclass party and were super excited to have the maestro back on the Gray Area decks. This is more than just another party—it’s a deep, immersive night soundtracked by one of the most respected names in the game. To start the day off, Gray Area resident, 

John Digweed’s impact on electronic music is far-reaching. He co-created the first commercially successful DJ mix compilation, 

 (with Sasha), and was the first British DJ to hold a residency at Twilo, the iconic New York City club that helped shape the global clubbing scene in the '90s. He has remixed artists like Underworld, Quincy Jones, William Orbit, and New Order, and his DJ sets have taken him to landmark venues and festivals including Timewarp, Coachella, Glastonbury, Ultra, and Movement, as well as club institutions like Fabric and Stereo.

As head of the influential Bedrock Records, Digweed has championed producers whose work is now considered essential in the underground community. The label’s name is a benchmark of quality across the globe, known for spotlighting forward-thinking talent and delivering releases that stand the test of time.

Together with Nick Muir, Digweed forms the production duo Bedrock, with over 50 releases to their name. Their tracks “Heaven Scent” and “For What You Dream Of” both broke into the UK Top 40, with the latter featured on the 

 soundtrack. Their scoring credits include the film

Joining John Digweed at 99 Scott is San Francisco-based artist 

, one of the most respected names in progressive house and techno today. Known for epic sets and a refined, melodic sound, Spencer has played major festivals like Tomorrowland, Creamfields, and EDC, and headlined club tours across India, Brazil, and Australia.

His breakout came at just 18 when he opened for Avicii at the Hollywood Bowl and released music on Avicii’s LE7ELS label. Since then, he’s dropped standout releases on Anjunadeep, Factory93, Last Night on Earth, and mau5trap, with support from names like Above & Beyond and Marco Carola.

Spencer’s debut album Illusion of Perfection and his underground hit “Windows 95 on Acid” showed his range across house, techno, and trance. In 2022, he launched his own imprint, diviine, to stay fully in control of his sound and artistic vision.

He’s also been a vocal advocate for the LGBTQ+ community and a forward thinker in music tech, pushing creative boundaries through NFTs and Web3 platforms. His weekly radio show, Transitions, airs in over 80 countries and reaches more than 14 million listeners worldwide. Known for its deep, forward-thinking selections, the show is a regular No. 1 on Mixcloud and has become a go-to source for music fans looking to discover quality underground sounds.
