Overview

Eight-time GRAMMY Award nominee Kaskade, one of the most recognized and respected names in music, brings his groundbreaking new experience UNDUX to Creekside this summer on Sunday, August 31. Set beneath the towering arches of the Kosciuszko Bridge at Under the K Bridge Park, this raw, reimagined urban space offers a striking backdrop for a one-of-a-kind open-air show. UNDUX is Kaskade’s stripped-back concept built around connection through subtraction — removing visual overload to let the music and environment take center stage.

Widely regarded as a pioneering figure in the dance scene, Kaskade — born Ryan Raddon — has spent the past two decades redefining what’s possible for electronic artists, from stadium takeovers to cultural moments that have elevated dance music into mainstream consciousness. His impressive list of accolades includes multiple GRAMMY nominations, a Billboard magazine cover with deadmau5 for their collaborative project Kx5, and headlining performances at some of the world’s biggest events.

In 2024 alone, Kaskade became the first-ever in-game DJ at the Super Bowl, performing to over 123 million viewers — a landmark cultural crossover. That same year, he was named Best Male Artist of the Year at the iHeartRadio EDM Awards while Kx5 took home Best New Group. He also made history as the first DJ to ever perform on the starting grid of a Formula 1 race in Miami.

Kaskade’s résumé includes record-setting performances at the LA Memorial Coliseum, SXSW, the Grand Canyon Skywalk, and a sold-out Christmas tour with a live band and ensemble vocalists.

He was the first solo electronic artist to sell out both Chicago’s Navy Pier and Los Angeles’ Staples Center, and he pioneered the modern Las Vegas DJ residency, where he remains Resorts World's most-booked artist. His extensive list of collaborations with artists like Alicia Keys, Jennifer Lopez, Gwen Stefani, and Meghan Trainor has further solidified his crossover influence and unmatched production range.

This August, Kaskade introduces a new chapter of his artistic expression with UNDUX, a concept event that strips back the flashing lights and towering LED walls to focus on human connection and the raw power of music. “Stage production for electronic music is cresting in the most mind-blowing ways,” he says. “Lights, lasers, LED screens — it’s sensory flooding and I love being a part of that. With UNDUX however, I’d like to introduce my audience to the concept of connection through subtraction.”

UNDUX invites fans to step into a shared experience rooted in simplicity: gathering by daylight, surrounded by skyline views, murals, and art, immersed in sound. “I’m curious what type of experience we can have when we bring the sun down together and just watch the world unfold,” Kaskade adds. The show is designed to highlight the most powerful elements of a dance music event — not by piling on production, but by removing it and letting the music lead.

Set in Creekside at Under the K Bridge Park, this special performance takes place in one of New York City’s most compelling urban spaces. Tucked beneath the soaring arches of the Kosciuszko Bridge in North Brooklyn, the park is a reclaimed seven-acre expanse that transforms a previously overlooked industrial site into a vibrant, community-driven green space. Designed by PUBLIC WORK and managed by the North Brooklyn Parks Alliance, the venue blends raw city infrastructure with thoughtful landscaping, public art, and over 20,000 native plants, creating an atmosphere that feels simultaneously open, grounded, and alive.

More than just a venue, Under the K Bridge Park represents a movement toward reimagining urban life — a space built on principles of equity, sustainability, and connection. With towering industrial columns, tree-filled paths, and an ambient “solar slice” that runs its length, the park creates an immersive backdrop for open-air cultural gatherings like UNDUX. It’s the ideal location for a show built around the idea of subtraction — a physical space that reflects the same themes of openness, reflection, and shared experience.

As one of the most celebrated names in the genre’s history, Kaskade’s decision to slow things down and refocus attention on atmosphere, presence, and sound speaks volumes. August 31 at Creekside promises an unforgettable journey with a global artist who continues to shape the way we experience music.

Join us for Kaskade: UNDUX — a summer gathering built on sound, sunlight, and shared energy in one of NYC’s most unique outdoor settings.
